Apparently we're interested. Just saw it on hoopshype.

He's an amazing role player, but a little redundant. I would rather get a wing coming off the bench that can get to the line and play a little on the ISO end. Basically Crawchuck without the chucking

I like him and offensive rebounding a lot. He's opportunistic on offense, even if he has limited range.

We obviously don't have a lot to offer outside of shorter deals and draft pick. I'd be ecstatic if he could be had for that.

He's not what we need but he's a very very good player and I would welcome him on our team in a heartbeat.

Give em Trob and CJ and call it good. Though, I still want a slasher wing, so it's not the best get...

Gibson is world's better than all 3 of them and has playoff experience.

So? He still is the same position as our all star power forward, also he makes 8mil for a couple more seasons. The gap isn't big enough between him and our young guys to make that move.

The gap is huge. Gibson is a perennial 6th man of the year candidate. 49% shooting. 11/7 and a little more than a block a game. He's the backup PF we've never had.

If the Bulls give up Taj, it's for a starting SG or SF.

If we are fixing to get Gibson why not try for Hinrich as well? Blake and Hinrich could play well together.

I hope we don't give up MyLo. With Mirotic there I don't see why they'd want Leonard. T-Rob would make more sense.

Taj is EXACTLY what we need. He's a good defender and money with the mid-range jumper. To be honest, he's a legit Sixth Man of the Year candidate when he gets playing time. We've all been yearning for a go-to player off the bench ... well, here he is.

Yes, Meyers, Thomas, and Joel all have their moments. But neither of them are as consistent as Taj nor are they as well-rounded as the Chicago big. If we can get him without dealing any starters, you do that all day and twice on Sundays.

Taj is no different than kaman in the scheme of things for us though. Also what would we do with the young guys? What kind of message are we sending if guys that actually can play (Freeland and leonard) are getting their minutes taken for the rest of their likely Blazer careers?

We need a player who can play the 2-3 not the 4-5.

The message sent is that the best players get the minutes. Our whole bench sucks. Taj Gibson is better than all of them. Do want to win a championship or be sensitive to Freeland and MyLe's feelings?

Plus, if Aldridge has to miss games for any reason, we can still win with Gibson.

Well, what's worse, you get taj and he gives us 8/6 in 22 minutes of run while killing all momentum and growth of Freeland and Leonard or you get the same production without giving anybody up and basically giving up on some young talented pieces? I can see us Giving up on a cj or a Crabbe because guards are a dime a dozen, 7 footers with skill aren't.

They can't get Wes for Taj. Neil has already said not trading Wes that he is a part of our future.

I hear you. I want a title though and when're I watch Gibson play, I think man, I wish we had that kind of play on our team.

I just clicked in Denny's link and that site is like a poor man's Bleacher Report.

Not a credible source.

Gibson doesn't even bring us any closer to a title though, guys like afflalo, Chandler or ross would be more important to our success.

Both would be great. Gibson AND Chandler. Remember when Celtics won in 2008? They signed and traded for as many good players they could get. PJ Brown, Sam Cassell down the stretch.
