Takeover Knick Franchise

If you had just taken over the knick franchise and you where allowed to make 5 moves such as trade, sign and trade, sign free agents, release player, hire staff, etc. what would u do to this team?

1) i'd fire Scott Laden
2) i'd use all my point guards as bait to bring in a true point guard.
3) try to get involved in a multi-player deal with the Blazers
4) change the team logo and bring in new uniforms (something 2 get fans to come and watch)
5) get Pat back in the city as a player/mascot/coach/waterboy anything, this team needs to regain its image as a team and city with a heart and soul. Ever since Pat left they have had no love, especially from their own fans.

Getting rid of Layden is a must. Try to trade Charlie Ward or Howard Eisley, so it's only the other one and Frank Williams left to run the point. Hopefully Williams would develop into a solid player. Get someone to work with Doleac on his shotblocking.. he's really bad there :/.

there's no way u can make a contender out of the knicks with only 5moves. they are a sad franchise, but i hope that they can turn it around and not just throw money away.

2-trade houston to the rockets for a bundle of players and a 1st rounder
3-trade ward/ eisley
4-apporach kg next year and do anything possible to get him here
5-trade all our forward exept dyess sweetz van horn and lampe for a big man

i think the key would b to fire layden then trade away the role players for some young guys who can play and actually become a contender in the years to come, id also start praying that dyess gets better

i agree. except i wouldn't change logo or jerseys, good trades would get the fans back i doubt new logo/jerseys would. Im all for number 5. Pat has done great things for the city, the city should do some great things for him.
