Tank Now (2 Viewers)

Let's face it. This is not a good team going through a slump, this is a bad team that had a lucky few weeks. We can't fall into the delusion that we did last year and wait until it's too late. Shut down Deni (lower back) and Clingon (hamstring). Give Yang all the minutes. Give Sharpe all the shots. Start Grant and increase his trade value as much as possible.

I know it sucks, but it needs to be done. This team isn't winning anything this year. We need to think long term. We can't be stuck in play-in purgatory. Get one more high lottery pick and go into next season with a healthy roster. That's when we start trying to win.
I’m glad we didn’t tank. We now have clinched ability to swap picks with Bucks, we have had some playoff wins and maybe there is now the vision of how to transform this team into a playoff contender.

Glad we finally paid off the Bulls pick debt. I never saw the need to have a 5th straight season in the lottery as some fans here wanted.

Though I agree completely, there will undoubtedly be an all-star drafted at or after the pick we concede this year, and people will inevitably point to that player as someone we have up for the sake of a short playoff run

There will never be a time when some fans will not find something to hang their dissapointment on.

Never. So does it really matter?
Of course not, nor does anything else we do in this forum.

Exactly. However, just as you said that "there will undoubtedly be an all-star drafted at or after the pick we concede this year"...there are also undoubtedly fans who think that dissing the teams direction and choice to make the playoffs....actually does matter. Just bantering.....

Fortunately, most of us have found that our disappointment hats hang nicely on HCP.
