He mentioned Canzano, but everyone knows who Canzano is. We hate him, but we at least know of his work.

I really had no clue who this guy was before Sly decided to make him famous. For me, if I was still trying to be a known commodity in the sports world, that would suck far more than any insult.
The narcissism is next level I'm impressed. Using your logic I didn't know this forum existed 3 months ago therefore it couldn't have existed, has no members and nobody posts therefore you should be embarrassed

I don't blame TD for going overboard defending his listenership numbers; if advertisers caught wind of the low numbers and got scared, he could lose that sweet sweet Honeybucket sponsorship.

Gotta do what he can to maintain the Honeybucket sponsorship. He's quite partial to it. That's his nickname, and it's not a term of endearment.

and didn't Cuddle Girl break up with Free Throw Guy? I think she's available!

Hey man, just like most of Taylor's male-female relationships, the cuddle buddy session won't be sexual in any way, shape or form.

Ladies, ladies--it's OK. You're both pretty.

Haha, man this isn't our job. We don't get paid to do this. It's a pass time. We come here to blow off steam and talk with people that we've been chatting with for 10+ years. I couldn't care less if you heard of us.

Your job is radio. Your job is to attract Blazer fans. It's your job to be known. You also have extremely thin skin, which is pretty amateur for a guy that's supposedly a pro at this. You need to toughen up senpai.

To be honest, I'd prefer it if nobody outside our little online family ever heard of this place.

Well, some of the posts have caused us to be embarrassed.

Hey, we could always return to "The Quiet Room".

I like the user mix here and the software is really good now. I know Denny paid for that with wider exposure, so my feelings are kind of complicated about the whole thing.

Agreed. I get that this place has to grow, inevitably. Or die out. I wasn't thrilled when this place became the official forum of the Blazers because of the new riff raff that came along with that.

There's some good and bad with the growth/changes. One day it will outgrow me (just like Pacific City has - F you Californians!!!).

I'm sorry, Taylor, were you still talking? As I don't live in Portland anymore, I've had ample opportunity to get used to listening to dead air, so it's an easy habit to fall back into when you're in the vicinity.

Yay, you got to be part of the frat-boy pack which rules Portland sports radio. Good for you. Sure that looks great on a resume. As we're being petty and all, your petty excuse for a jab implies taking my job was a grand accomplishment. It wasn't, I guarantee you that. I still work in the business and I'm a lot happier now than I ever was dealing with bargain basement radio cheapskates.

That's the problem with all Portland Radio, actually. They pay talent on the cheap, so then only cheap talent sticks around.

Fortunately, I also have the value of knowing a lot of the guys who worked with you previously and they all say the same thing. You got to where you are by fellating the right egos. Ass-kissing doesn't equal integrity.

I suspect you and I can go around on this for the rest of time, and frankly, I'd love to as it's been cathartic just getting this off my chest, so I should thank you for that. I'd have gladly said it to your face when the opportunity arose, but I was always taught to take the high road and not pick on little kids.

And for the record, my name is Devin, with an I. Accuracy, son. learn it.

Amazing how you've confused logic with emotion. Because you've never heard of me in your mind equals nobody hearing of me. Just find your narcissism humorous.

Taylor is fitting in like he's been posting here for years.

I'm not sure if that's a compliment or not.

OHHH, SNAP!

I believe he's sayin, "Learn the game, then post."

I'm not the only one who hasn't heard of you. Most of this board had never heard of you. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the people on this board are some of the most passionate Blazer fans in the city. There's a reason why we were approached by the team to be the official forum. If most of the people here haven't heard of you, that's a problem. You probably could have handled it better. Before people had never heard of you, but now because of the way you're acting, people will avoid you and your show. That sure backfired!

So, are we inviting any noobs to our suite?
Not doing anything until we actually GET a suite...

I imagine the demand for suite tix will be high enough that there won't be enough for all the veteran posters who want to come. Hopefully, some degree of board seniority/contribution is considered in the allocation.
