Hey, I tried something different and it failed. Tried to find away to have some fun and give away some swag. Just like I'm trying to put together some Meet and Greets. Those are close to being put in the fail column too because of the underwhelming turnout.

Not sure how this community works but in all seriousness I promise I am a good guy with thick skin and a decently small ego (we all have one) I used my name to join and want to have fun this Blazer season. Just like you guys the Blazers picked me to do a show for them so I hopefully can bring some insight here. Whether or not you listen to the show doesn't really matter id of course like you to but more importantly I don't want you to come away thinking I think less of this community or its members. Look forward to arguing in the future

I still don't consider this a fail. This thread was epic, there WILL be more interaction between this board and their show, and each got a bit more notoriety.

Ultimately, if we ever get to the point where show topics/segments are regularly being discussed and/or publicized on this board, or the rare interesting thread in here is discussed on their show, this attempt at synergy will have truly been successful. I don't see that as an unreasonable possibility. At the very least, I know I'll be posting here about there, and tweeting there about here.

This place is like a group of sharks. I mean, any time there's the scent of blood, it becomes a feeding frenzy. It wasn't the best idea, but it was fun and entertaining. There was some testiness from both sides at times, but most people here just kept it light (as usual), and Danforth was a pretty good sport about it. Even with the elevated back-and-forth from both sides, it's not easy being one against a larger group of people (bigger than his audience) and maintaining self-restraint and composure. So, if nothing else, there's some props there. Even if this was all a faux scandal created by an over-sized dirty dog.
 
other than looking back thru 35 pages, has this chick taylor said any more about the board?

if so, fuck her.

Failed? Nah. BlazerCeltic may have been serious, but I'm pretty sure Taylor is taking everything else the way it was intended to be taken.
