Team USA should be the favorite and will probably win, but I have had some concerns.

Marc Gasol, Pau Gasol, Serge Ibaka, and Jorge Garbajosa is an intimidating frontline for Team USA. It shouldn't be, but it is.

Didn't Garbajosa just retire?

But yes, it will be odd when Spain plays US that the best center on the floor will be Spanish. And that's if they play either Gasol there. However, the best everything else will be American, so it would be pretty remarkable if Spain did anything. Their only hope is if Russell Westbrook is PG for long stretches.

Just curious: with three OKC players on the US team - anyone feel any qualms about rootin' for the good ol' red white and blue? Not to mention, it's coached by the ever-lovable Coach K.

I'm going for spain unless iggy is traded to the blazers.

I'm for Spain because I like Sergio and Rudy.

If anyone is feenin' for some basketball: Final Olympic Qualifier: Nigeria vs. Dominican Republic

Ike Diogu, Al-Farouq Aminu and our very own Ikene Ibekwe (Summer League) play for Nigeria.

Al Horford and Fransisco Garcia play for Dominican Republic.

Diogu was a Blazer a couple of years ago. Which of the many "play nows" or "downloads" on that site are real, and which viruses? Until I know, I'll pass.

Blake Griffin injured his knee during Team USA's Wednesday scrimmage and is returning to Los Angeles to be examined by team doctors.

Anthony Davis has been asked to return immediately to Las Vegas for training camp.

Griffin reportedly 'twisted' his knee and the extent of the injury is unclear. Griffin will undergo an MRI as soon as possible.

The injury is on his left knee, the same one he injured during the playoffs.

I love listening to Pippen's voice.

He's on the telecast right now saying that his Dream Team could have beat this team by 25.

uh oh. Blake Griffin meniscus tear. Won't play in the Olympics. Curse of the contract. Curse of the Clippers. Curse of Don Roberts.
