I laughed out loud that the screw is 99 and the electric chair is in the 80s.

That's about as far as I got. Ridiculous list made by nerds.

I quit at 80 something.Man that list was good for a laugh.
Prozac apparently is more important than the telephone, hand guns, airplanes, Irrigation, and the internal combustion engine to name a few.
Mind blown

I knew it was a moronic list at the screw. Read a bit more to see wtf other 90 something things could be ahead of it.I got as far as the screw. It's one of a handful of simple machines that changed the world. Our entire concept of tightening and loosening mechanical parts comes from it. If you take away the invention of the screw you would literally have to unmake the world as we know it.
The wheel, the internal combustion engine, the steam engine, penicillin, the television, the telephone, the airplane, fire, the modern computer, Calculus, the rifle, the dirt bike (strike that) . . .Seems to have been compiled by youngsters who never knew life before many of these technologies were developed.
My grandmother was born in 1903 and lived 97 years.
In the 80's I asked her what technological advancement since her birth changed her life the most.
Without hesitation she smiled and said "indoor plumbing".
Knife, compass, cartography, fishing nets, boats, railroads, internal combustion engine probably more impactful than quite a few things on that list.
