I quit at 80 something.

The top 100 singers of all time is something one could differ on as a matter of opinions.

Replace prozac with coffee cup/beer can holder. Many of inventions on the list are worthless without a coffee cup holder

Seems to have been compiled by youngsters who never knew life before many of these technologies were developed.

My grandmother was born in 1903 and lived 97 years.

In the 80's I asked her what technological advancement since her birth changed her life the most.

Without hesitation she smiled and said "indoor plumbing".

Knife, compass, cartography, fishing nets, boats, railroads, internal combustion engine probably more impactful than quite a few things on that list.

I got as far as the screw. It's one of a handful of simple machines that changed the world. Our entire concept of tightening and loosening mechanical parts comes from it. If you take away the invention of the screw you would literally have to unmake the world as we know it.

The steam engine invented around 1700 was a major factor in kick starting the industrialzation revolution. It greatly increased an individual's manufacturing capabilities. Then expanded to improve farming, transportation and other areas. Later improved on by the combustion engine.
