The correct answer.

Seriously, this would be an unbelievable upgrade. He has coached a 60 win team with Al Horford as his best player. He made Jeff Teague and Kyle Korver all stars. He's no joke
And he emphasizes BALL MOVEMENT!!!

Budenholzer and Brett Brown are both Pop disciples. You can see it in the way their teams move the ball and play good team defense.

I'm not a Stotts hater, and there aren't many better coaches who are available. Budenholzer is one. I'd do this, not just to shake things up, but as an actual honest to god upgrade.

100% agree.

And he got swept out of the playoffs.

Quite possibly your most disingenuous post ever. Congrats, you've outdone yourself.

Yeah, they got swept by LeBron and company in the THIRD round of the playoffs. Guess what. The Celtics got swept by LeBron and company that year, too - in the FIRST round. I guess that means we should also avoid Brad Stevens if he becomes available.

Oh and the Spurs have been swept three times (so far) since Gregg Popovich has been their coach. It happens, and it's not always the coach's fault.

Okay so this series against Stotts isn't his fault then, right?

Where did I say that? Or are you really equating losing to LeBron in the Conference finals to being swept in the first round by the 6th seed?

Its not 100% on Terry, he's not the one committing all those unforced TOVs, but exactly what adjustments has he made in this series? So far, this series just seems like a whole lot of same shit, different day.

I am so fucking sick of watching my team get totally out coached by Alvin Gentry in the playoffs. He completely out coached Nate in 2010. It only took Nate until opening night of the following season, seven months later, to make Gentry pay for putting Steve Nash on Nic Batum so Grant Hill could guard Andre Miller (who abused Nash in Game 1) and completely shut down our offense before it even got started.

And now, 8 years later, its like deja vu all over again, with Gentry owning Stotts. WTF, is Alvin Gentry really one of the greatest basketball minds of the 21st century?

BNM

Yeah, after losing all five of their starters, including four all stars.

OK, I'm a big enough man to admit it when I am wrong. This is officially your most disingenuous post ever.

BNM
Lmao. Exactly. There's no legimate argument for Stotts anymore, and his supporters have turned to stuff like this.

Kingspeed will tell you it's more complicated than schemes and that you're not an NBA coach so you don't know what it takes to be one.

Back up the Brinks truck for Jay Wright, Paul!!!

Or double the paycheck of Butler's head coach.

Worked for the Celtics.

Mama there goes that man!
