Anything is possible. Why is it worth doing?
Follow along with the video below to see how to install our site as a web app on your home screen.
Note: This feature may not be available in some browsers.
Photobucket gives four choices for copying the link to the photo: "Email", "Direct", "HTML", and "IMG". Because "IMG" uses an "URL", and the insert image function calls for an URL, I chose "IMG". I copied it to a Word doc to look at it, and it does seem redundant. Whatever, it doesn't work. These are the permissions for user BBert:

This is what I see in your signature:

The tags look in improper order, with two [[ in a row.
Try erasing your whole signature and redo it from scratch. I know images work in signatures - see mine...
To insert an image, click on this button:

It should work.

So I tried it using the "Direct" link: and Voila. It works.
I'd still much rather upload a picture from my computer, but OK.
Thanks.

Hmm...Interesting. I'll have to try that. (Copy and paste didn't work, LOL.On my mac, and only in Chrome, I'm able to drag an image from desktop or any other window with an image in it (another browser, iPhoto, etc.) into the editor where I want the picture and it's there. No need to upload, no need to provide a link.
You can upload images into our media gallery and link to the image from there:

)The MMA forum is mostly comprised of threads I've made and having 900 Bruno Caboclo's on the left side of the page is a bit odd. For events I could use actual fight posters as the thread images which would be more appropriate. For other forums, having say the opposing team's logo in a game thread would make sense. It wouldn't have to be a full-time thing where you have to pick an image but maybe an option to set one (like how we have the option to add a poll) would work?Anything is possible. The beauty of this forum used to be its simplicity. That's what clutchfans and even lakersground have right now.
Now this place looks like the mess at realgm. Way too much text, pictures, clutter. Way too many unnecessary features that people won't use. I get getting ahead of the curve with these things, but was this drastic of a change needed? Bugging me more than I thought it would.

Biggest difference for me is the pics as mentioned before. I had them all turned off. Img codes, tweets, the avatars, etc. Like the pics of avatars on the left of each thread topic.... what purpose does this serve? I liked the simple green light that indicated if I had posted in it. Maybe I just need to get used to it .... hate the inability to turn off pics thoughI cannot tell the difference inside a thread between old and new site.
Here's a screenshot of the old forum:

And the new:

The differences aren't that significant.
The list of moderators and who's online are now in a column on the right.
Instead of all the threads having different colored envelopes next to them: View attachment 4567 there's the thread starter's avatar, very small.
The OT subforums are displayed on the new site in 3 columns in tiny font. Saves a click to get to Denny's List, for example. The subforums are rendered in a different style than the thread list, but it's perfectly intuitive how they work and the stats and stuff are there.
The thread list looks identical to me, with all the same information. The [1][2][3] jump to pages appear on the new site if you hover over the thread instead of being there all the time. Both vb4 and xenforo have thread prefixes, but xenforo has nice style to them. We just didn't use them in vb4 because they were ugly.
So we have a column on the right and found a way to make more use of it than just the who's online list. Does that right column prevent you from looking at the stuff rendered in the huge left side of the page?

It's not a feature that's built in.
However, I think I may be able to add a plugin that provides this feature.
Yup something like that. It was available on the old version. How do I access it?
I have to install it. Later today, like 5PM after work
And I don't control what TapaTalk does. They provide a plugin on the server that talks to the database and to the client on the phone. They've been updating the client program and I think it's taken a turn for the worse. HCP's been complaining about their changes for a while now.
You might try visiting the site in the browser on your phone. I think the experience is better than tapatalk anyway. Several people have posted they like it better than tapatalk, too.
