We might've dodged another Hedo contract. Sometimes its better to be lucky than good.

Did they actually try to sign him, or were those just rumors?

The rumor was we contacted him and told him we would sign him for x amount and then he went to SA and they said ok, we will just match that or give you a bit more to not sign with POR.

So who knows if it is true or not.

I watched the SA -Laker game and I thought he played pretty well. 14 rebounds and good D.

The problem with getting splitter has more to do with flexibility to grab other bench players. Splitter would blow our entire cap load

Yeah, I'd much rather have this bench that Splitter. Luckily this team has been saved from itself a couple of times.

If we could've had Splitter for 6 mil I thought that would've been a good contract. I'm surprised the Spurs FO gave him 9..

Hey BDSF - what's the website for 503 and HOF's board? If you have it, could you pm it to me?

Yeah I agree he is not worth anywhere close to 9/yr. He is still a solid player though. At least in Pop's system. He did have a bad finals, but he played well in the rest of the playoffs.

splitter is no where near worth 9 mil
he was a total pussy in the finals

Not so much a pussy, more like a giant failure lol
