What a stupid article. It spends paragraphs to simply say that the Blazers can't afford him. Our Sixth Man costs $4M but contributes $12M. Replacing him will cost more for a lesser player. Or it will cost the same, but for someone who never plays.

Brain-dead article which exists just to silence its opponents. Similar to many posts here.

For those of you that made the assertion that Olshey has run things by Dame--obviously right?--those three little letters (smh) certainly call that into question. Dame is voicing his disapproval....publicly.

All part of the bigger picture, right? Olshey's secret plan to build a contender. More likely Olshey is delusional and is pile driving my team into the ground. Words cannot express...

BlazersEdge is just overall crap content written by people with less basketball knowledge than the average poster on this forum. I thought about getting a job there, and then decided against it. I couldn't stoop to that level man.

My theory why we didn’t sign Ed Davis. Obviously Zach Collins was going to play regardless of whether Davis was here or not. I think this move had more to do with Meyers playing time. They have to get him some playing time either he develops or creates at least some type of trade value this year

He will have some kind of a trade value next summer as an expiring contract no matter if he plays or not.

Given what we have seen so far, that trade value might be higher if he does not play (and I honestly wish him the best, I am just not sure we will ever see much more from him than what we already did).

That might be true except that we know that Biggie was ahead of Biebs in the rotation.

I'm gonna miss Ed and Collins playing together; some of their passes and assists to each other were really fun to watch; unlike a lot of the one on one play by the team normally.

Maybe Paul just told Ed to take a one year flyer and we'd bring him back after cleaning house.

Somebody needs to create a Biebs hype video and post a bunch of "Wow!! Look how amazing Biebs looks this offseason!" comments everywhere to fool a team like.....really, who cares where he goes.

Meyers better destroy this year

Thanks for the time, Ed.

The argument of "we have too many bigs" b/c we have Nurk, Collins, Meyers, PapaG, and Aminu would hold more water if we hadn't have added --to a backcourt that already has an All-NBA 1st Teamer and a 20+pt-scoring SG who was MIP of the League, as well as a mid-first pick from a few years back--two 19y/o guards in the draft and another former 1st-round pick at SG .
