I think as nets fans we would be rude not to give Mark Cuban a formal thank you thread. He was so nice to us last year taking an aging point guard and a going nowhere shooting guard in exchange for Devin Harris and the draft pick that brought us Ryan Anderson, plus the 2010 draft pick which will be very good when you consider Cuban will probably blow things up at the end of this season when the mavs are done early in the playoffs.

So, if you want post a special message to Mark Cuban! He is turning out to be one of the best nets supporters and contributors in the franchise history..

Hindsight is 20/20 but the Mavs definitely gave up way too much for Kidd. He was 35 years old and Mavs front office could have definitely used that to their advantage in negotiations. And at the end of the day, Kidd wanted out of Jersey. Anytime a player demands a trade they mar their value. So if anything, the Nets were in a more desperate position than Jersey. But competency hasn't always been something synonymous with the Mavs front office.

The fans were chanting "thank you Cuban." You reap what you sow.

Avery wanted to keep Devin Harris. With no trade we would have been playing the Lakers in the West Finals last season...I think. Avery was not the main problem...it's Cuban. Avery knows his mistake of not trusting his players enough on the court. It should be obvious to him.

Dirk wanted th trade I think. He needed someone to take the leadership burden off him. DIrk messed that up royally. By the way Devin was voted MVP by the Mavs fans just before the trade...way to God Donnie and Cuban.

I am a Mavs fan first. However I am glad that we all got to see the truth plain and sweet in light of what we gave up and miss with Devin Harris.

With Harris the current Mavs would be in 2nd or 1st place this season.

I like Kidd, but not for the expense of Harris and 2 first round picks, Diop, Ager (another 1st rounder) and lots of money.

Call for a new owner please....thanks cuban for the good things you brought...but....
