Stupidest post you've ever written. Kinda impressive considering the length.

No dude, we've had some talks you and I and I thought we'd had an understanding but the fact that you clearly don't care that the teacher said what she said while physically shoving a KID, exhibits a privilege I'm not afforded. One you claimed you were aware of. To use a double negative, I can't not care.

You guys can fight over this. I know without a doubt that if a black teacher said the exact same thing verbatim it would be a non issue.

Feel free to worry about that and ignore the important part that in the year 2016 as a nation we are still sending black kids to shitty schools with shitty teachers in shitty neighborhoods.

Enjoy your sweet white teachers who don't say anything but sit back and watch these kids fail while collecting a paycheck.

Hey, as long as they don't say anything bad we're good right?

Look, I don't condone racism. I didn't see it, even if I did without being there for the days and months leading up to it I couldn't really understand it.

I'm amazingly aware of my white privilege. I see it daily. I also have big mean looking guy privilege too. I'm really amazed at things other white people I know have happen to them or have said to them.

I posted it in another thread, things need to be fair. Racism is the belief that someone is inferior or destined to be a certain way because of the color of their skin. I don't believe that and anyone who does is a moron. The examples of how untrue this is are there for all to see.

A white trash meth head isn't that way because he is white any more than a black kid is a gang member because he's black.

It's not my fight and as of now I do have the privilege of not caring.

I don't know how long that will last but while it does I want to apologize to you and your ancestors for everything my ancestors have ever done. I just want you to know that I don't ever mean to downplay your fight but I'll continue to call things like I see them. I try to be as logical as I can, I don't even take my wife's side of everything even when I could just agree with her and never think about it again.

I mean, seriously try that. She's actually thanked me because in the long run she has thought about a few things and it made her job easier.

One thing about this election, and I'm not sure if I'd say it's a good thing or a bad thing, but it's making people realize how racist and hateful this nation still is. We haven't come as far as maybe people had hoped.

Humans are hateful by nature. We are tribal. Us vs them. It's not just racism. It's hatred towards other religions. Hatred towards other genders and sexual orientation or political beliefs. There's just a lot of hate going around. Shining the light on that hatred and exposing people will hopefully motivate people to do something. I guess that's one good thing about Trump getting elected. It's exposing a lot of festering wounds that people have been ignoring.

I'm not sure if hatred and bigotry will ever go away, but at the very least we can't allow people to pass laws or discriminate. If someone wants to be a hateful piece of shit, that's their problem, but they can't be allowed to take rights and opportunities away from others.

True story here goes.......

A couple of months ago the wife and I wanted lunch after the gym. I Yelped what I thought was a grilled chicken restaurant that had almost all 5 star reviews. We walked inside and I saw 20 black people eating this AMAZING looking fried chicken.

There was a long line so we stood in it while I read the menu. There wasn't anything grilled on it so I made a point to say loudly how I couldn't eat fried food and it looked so good but we had to leave.

I didn't want anyone thinking it was because of them that we left.

It looked and smelled so fucking good toooooooooo. FUCK

One of the realest posts ever from you NB3.

Bro, I crossed the street last night while leaving the very affluent MAC Club because some "suspicious looking" white males were coming toward me. :dunno:

I'm now afraid of having a hate crime happen to me.... Thanks Trump...

Hatred and bigotry will never go away, but humans do die. So let's get to work killing those people! Kill! Kill! Die DIE DIE!

FTFY.

Yeah, the native Americans were just living in perfect harmony before Europeans came here. Their human sacrifice, and constant war with each other was just pure bliss until the white devils came.

Oh I guess I forgot about the fact that they were enslaving each other as well.

Ignorance. Look up the Iroquois Confederacy. They lived in peace for over 160 years and invented the game LaCrosse. And please don't ever spit on what's happened to natives in this country. White people killed over 80 million of them but that holocaust is swept under the rug. The natives would've been completely fine sans-European colonialism.

You're exactly right. The fact that you don't understand why it's ok for the black teacher to say it is the issue.

I can understand that teachers get frustrated with kids. I personally have seen it and been a part of it as a kid myself. I have watched my fellow classmates push a teacher to the brink, and caused that teacher to lash out, and I have known teachers to lose it and cry and have emotional breakdowns.

But I will never condone a teacher lashing out at kids. Not in any way, shape, or form. The fact that this teacher did it in this manner makes it even worse, but frankly I don't care if she called them little shits or morons or worthless or whatever. It's never okay. It violates the teacher/student relationship. The job of the teacher is to inspire the kids. Educate them, earn their trust, and sometimes take the hit. Kids are ruthless. If you can't handle it, don't become a teacher. It's that simple.

With that said, our education system needs a huge overhaul. Our children are not getting a good education, and it's not the fault of the teachers. The system is broken. Plain and simple, and the teachers are on the front lines of that failure, but it is never okay for them to take out their frustrations on the kids. Never. Period. End of discussion. This kind of attitude can not be allowed.

Starts with more discipline. When I was in school that shit didn't fucking happen. You were in respect of your teacher, and afraid when they got upset, not in a violent afraid way, but "oh shit I gotta go to the principals office and then face my parents" afraid.

Parents are to blame here.

The parents... are to blame... for the teacher's racism....

Jesus Christ.

Yes they are. And teachers are put in an impossible situation where they have to babysit a bunch of entitled little brats.... but it's still unacceptable to lash out at the kids. Firstly, it doesn't help and it only makes it worse. Second, if you go that route, it's very difficult to come back.

I had a teacher in 7th grade. She was a science teacher, and my class was savage towards her. She tried everything. She tried counting down. She tried ringing a bell to get the kids quiet. She tried discipline. Kids would hide watches around the classroom and set alarms that would go off randomly. They would yell out "BLASTOFF" when she got to zero on her countdown. They would do just about everything they could to unhinge this woman. Looking back, I feel awful for her. She just wanted to teach us, and we were horrible little fuckers that never gave her an inch.

Oh yeah, I mean the lashing out is never good by a teacher. If they can't handle the students you send them home, or to the Principal, etc. Ain't nobody got time for that. Again, for that situation you just described it's lack of respect instilled into them by their parents.

Well, as a teacher, I think you can't let the kids push you around. You gotta set the tone early. You won't put up with the shit. Send the kid to detention. Nip it in the bud early.

I understand why you think it is ok for the black teacher to say it and not a white teacher. That's a huge problem.

For the longest time you had a black vulcan picture up. There is no logical explanation for saying we're equal but different. That was the excuse whites used to discriminate against blacks for years.

It didn't withstand scrutiny then and it doesn't now.

A black person saying that (and don't get me wrong, I don't condone anyone yelling that at the kids in a classroom) isn't racist.

You like to assume too much. Tuvok is one of my favorite characters on Star Trek. I'm a Treckie. One of the reasons why I'm a Trekkie, is because it depicts us three hundred years into the future when we were past all of this bullshit and we didn't blow this planet up. It also shows black people in roles where they get to use intelligence to solve problems instead of perpetuating the stereotypes that are perpetuated today.

You don't care at all that she told a room full of children that they'd "be like a punk ass n----- who's going to get shot."

Whooptie doo about that?

Fuckin' Trump. I'm blaming him for all future racism just like his supporters did Obama

So as far as the teacher is concerned, she had a bunch of kids who weren't paying attention, and probably being disrespectful, so she asked them if they wanted to do well in school, or be a "punk ass nigga that gets shot" too bad she doesn't have more pigment in her skin, or else people wouldn't have batted an eye. Is no one aware of how rough Baltimore is? Its one of the worst drug and crime infested cities in America, that teacher was talking about real shit. Should she have said the n word? No. But she wasn't being racist at all. Baltimore has a serious problem with young black men being shot. But white people cant say real shit without being called a racist.

And for the "I'm blaming him for all future racism" yeah, just keep meeting hate and ignorance, with hate and ignorance. That should fix everything. That won't just keep perpetuating hate and ignorance or anything...

Are you talking about a black teacher calling white students a racist name?

Or are you talking about a black teacher calling black students that racist name?

They were the size of a small state, I'm talking about an entire continent. If Europeans didn't colonize the Americas, then it would've been done by Asians, or Africans. And if somehow the Americas, stayed isolated forever, the Aztecs, would've spread their empire throughout the whole continent and killed, enslaved, or sacrificed every last Native American on the way. But instead, the Spanish came....

I'm not denying their "threat". I'm denying their relevance in comparison to the number of extremists who follow Islam.
Once or twice a decade, some nutcase kills a few people at an abortion clinic. Or blows up a Federal Building (of which there hasn't been a domestic terrorist attack by a white male of that magnitude here in the US since Oklahoma City). And no major, mainstream Christian Leader condones such acts, nor tells their followers to commit such heinous crimes.
Now compare that to the religious leaders of Islam; both here in this country and overseas.
And yet, I can name 3 terrorist attacks just in the past 3 or 4 years, right here in this country, from the followers of Islam. Whereas in the past 3 decades, I can name maybe 3 "white christian males" who did terrorist attacks because of their perverted ideology.
Yes, extremist Christians are out there. No argument here. But they are FAR outnumbered by extremists and terrorists of Islam; to the point where they are almost completely irrelevant. Not to mention the fact that the Koran actually condones such violent behavior.
Whereas the New Testament does not. Nor does any high-ranking religious leader of the Christian Faith.
And Jerry Falwell doesn't count.

I'm not going to get into a religious discussion or argument with you or anyone else.
However the bolded statement isn't entirely true.
As after the Orlando nightclub Shooting there was at least one mainstream Christian leader condoning the act.
The video went viral.

More hatred. There's hatred on both sides. This needs to stop.

After the fire was extinguished, officers saw "FK Trump" had been spray painted on the passenger side of the car, Simpson said. They also noticed a small pro-Trump sticker on the car, Simpson said.
