That game is the perfect example of why we wont win a title with Roy and LA

still clueless.

what did the mavs give up for butler & hayward? NOTHING. What did the cavs give up for jamison? nothing.

its called a good gm. one minute half the board jerks off to bayless, the next minute hes not a good trading piece lol? and you call me mixed up? really? also websters contract is great.

Yes, yes you are...

Please go cheer for another team, it is obvious this team does not satisfy you and we will never win a Championship ever. Going away may just be your best option.

Equally good players in Howard and Gooden.

its called a good gm.

What's called a good GM?

one minute half the board jerks off to bayless, the next minute hes not a good trading piece lol? and you call me mixed up? really?

You're the one both saying he's not a good player and saying he should be traded for an impact player. So, really. Yes. You're a little mixed up. Not to worry, it happens.

also websters contract is great.

"He sucks, but he's paid reasonably for sucking. GREAT TRADE PIECE."

Well, IMO, Pippen was also a franchise superstar. He just happened to be alongside the GOAT. You're quite optimistic if you think Roy will also be one of the thirty greatest players ever.

More like Roy will be the Kevin Martin to Oden's Bowie.

You're right...that does seem more realistic. :devilwink:

Their nothing was better than our nothing. Despite what many feel about him, Josh Howard is still better than every SF on the Portland roster added together into one player.

As for Cleveland, yep they did get Jamison for nothing. The nothing of an expiring contract. We didn't have contract that size to offer up.

Both trades you mentioned were for 10+ million dollar expiring contracts for this big free agency summer, so yes the mavs and cavs did give up something and in return got value.

You claim Webster is crap and isn't even a rotation level player, if that's true then it's retarded to say making 5million a year for at least another 2 seasons is a great contract.

There is more wrong with Roy than just his hamstring. This years Roy is not last years and the year before Brandon Roy. He exudes disinterest and often he looks like a guy that struggles to have fun out there. Like this has become work rather than something that is enjoyable for him. I have noticed this all year long. Not sure what might be the problem.

well then if thats true... we have a major fuckin problem.

and it doesnt change what i said... no title for these pretenders

You love jumping to conclusions, I cant wait till mass earthquakes in 2012, and then there is no titles for anyone including our atrocious star players.

Travis Outlaw has been out most of the season, so Roy just can't bring himself to smile... :sigh:

What did the Clippers get for Marcus Camby? Nothing. What did the Suns get for Rudy Fernandez? Nothing. What did the Rockets get for Nicolas Batum? Nothing. What did the Bulls get for LaMarcus Aldridge? Nothing. What did the Timberwolves get for Brandon Roy? Absolutely nothing.

repped for owning emcee rudy cee!!!

Portland started the season with an embarrassment of riches, talent and depth at every position. We found out what all that depth was good for - Portland would have to lose 9 straight games to be at .500, in spite of a ridiculous spate of injuries that has plagued the team all season.

Portland isn't going to win a championship behind just Roy and Aldridge and some dregs. I don't see them as a threat this season, but you never know once the playoffs start. The match ups could work in the Blazers' favor as they did for Houston last year.

I'm not meaning to rain on the Blazers' picnic. Far from it! It's stunning how great a season they've had given all the adversities. Oden's young still, Miller has gas in the tank, you've got Joel's expiring contract to deal over the summer or next season. I'd say things are looking up.
