Let alone last game where he was something like 12/15 from the field, tonight not only he made the game winner but he also made two clutch defensive plays on Walker, something we will never see from McCollum.
I questioned this project from the start and it still kinda amazing to me how people can still believe in a backcourt of Lillard and McCollum, two absolutely sub par difender who can't make up with offense to cover their defensive deficiencies, at least not in the playoffs.
Tonight when I saw the two defensive plays from Butler I was like "wow, I never see something like that on the Blazers", it kinda reminded me of the Matthews pre injury who could Impact games down the stretch with his clutch defense (obviously he was not on Butler's level).
