you're missing my point. Nearly 7 years ago Olshey decided that CJ was a worthy #2 option for a contender. Over 500 games later, each of which was proof that CJ was not a worthy #2, the Blazers finally abandoned the idea and realized that settling for a player like CJ had not worked and would not work. Then why would settling for Grant be any better? If they are landing Grant as a #3 option than fine. But for fucksakes, don't ever treat him, or pay him, like he's a #2 and an all-star
