The Abject Dismissal by ABC

This is not singular to ABC but their kick-off NBA Countdown Show have spent the entire show so far talking about the:

• Thunder, the Heat, the Pacers, how the Knicks are missing 'Melo today
• What a surprise the Suns are
• How they wish Kevin Love could make the playoffs
• How the Bucks and the Knicks need new owners
• Wishing health to Derrick Rose
• How injuries have decimated the league (the big market team Lakers/Nets/Bulls)

....and only one cursory mention of how the Blazers are tied for the best record in the league. The Blazers were in a highlight.....of a spotlight piece on Kevin Durant.

Almost absolute ignoring of the Blazers so this is a shout out to our beloved team. ROCK THE CLIPPERS ON NATIONAL TV TOMORROW and don't let these idiots continue to live in ignorant bliss.

It's just what sells, every news outlet is TMZ nowadays. I'm not surprised anymore when the Blazers get a side article after winning a big game. I kind of like playing that underdog role, and it seems like the team feeds off of the disrespect. The big markets can have all their glitz and glam, let us savor this moment as the true Blazer fans that we are, as the fans who were there through the good and the bad. Merry Christmas everyone!

They have to sell whats on TV today, not whats on TV tomorrow.

And to be honest, I'd rather they dismiss the team. lf the Blazers end up winning the division, or a top 4 seed, it'll be hilarious considering the guys on TV would actually have to learn about a team outside of OKC, Texas and LA.
