There is more and more talk that Anthony Davis will be moved either this trade deadline or off-season. Most of that has been to the Lakers but ESPN radio had the Blazers as 1 of 6 teams with the assets to move for the super-talented but oft injured Pelicans center.

And not that it carries weight, but AD is one of Dame's closer friends outside of the Blazer roster. It would take something like CJ/Nurk/Aminu+ and at least one first round pick...for something like Davis/Hill but if you have even the slightest chance to team AD with Dame, you do it.

If that were to somehow happen, watch the other players that would suddenly be willing to play in Portland.

I kind of hate the media with this stuff. They so desperately want guys like AD and Lillard in big markets they start this stuff just to pressure guys. Wait in a year or two itll start with Giannis.
They might as well get rid of half the league with as hard as they actively work against smaller market teams having a chance.

He seems like the kind of guy who would consider it..doesn’t sound like he cares that much about a big market. And I’m gonna let myself think that until it’s proven wrong
He was just saying he cares most about his legacy and for youngsters that look up to him, to see him as champion. He mentioned legacy was more important than money.

It's not going to happen (reason? We're Portland). But I'm in the mindset that you trade any and everyone not named Damian for him.

But I'm also in the mindset that if I could breath on the moon, I would.

We can't have both Dame and AD on the same roster. Both were given designated player extensions.

Same problem Boston has in trying to get both AD and Kyrie
I thought someone posted elsewhere that while a team can't give two DPE's, it is able to give one and trade for a second.

It must have plenty of fiber because I almost crapped my pants at the idea of it.
