No way the Lakers do that. Getting rid of Hassel's contract, while still getting a damn good player, an expiring contract no less, back in unthinkable.

Some of you guys are severely underestimating Shawn Marion's value. If they're trading him, it's for a good player on a decent long term contract or a bunch of young guys and picks. They're not looking to trade him for expiring contracts since his contract is expiring anyway.
