okay, now a new story...There's this girl from work, who I've just been getting to know lately. I help her out at work alot, and I've given her a few rides home, since she lives close to me. (I'm just pretty much a nice guy who likes making friends with anyone, and helpin people out...I'm friends with everyone at work, including the people not everyone likes.) Anyways, I made pretty good friends with her...with only intentions of making friends. Ever since I met her, she's been going out with this other guy who I work with, and who I'm sort of friends with. They were goin out for about a year or two, I think. I'm bad at remembering stuff, but it was a long relationship.</p>

Anyways, recently, he broke up with her...and I've been nice to her still, talkin to her, helpin her at work even more (because she's pretty new and a lil slow), and still givin her rides home from work (tho she just got a new car, so that won't be happenin no more). Today, my friend goes to me on AIM..."do you like meagan from work?" and I go no I'm just friends with her, why..? And he tells me she wanted him to ask me, because she was too nervous to (although who knows if that's true, since my friend lies alot).</p>

Now, I'm not really sure what to do...I only intended to be friends with her, but there's the possibility she likes me now. I always thought she was cute, and she has pretty nice eyes and a nice smile...but I'm not really sure if I like her. I've gotta be honest and say I've sorta had some feelings toward her, but nothing too strongly whereas I would try to get with her...plus, she had that boyfriend. And now that she's single I'm not really sure what to do...</p>
 
So me and my GF are still fighting she won't talk to me and ignores me all the time I don't know whats the problem I think everything were going threw is so stupid the reason why we are not talking is because she wants me to wear hollister and I'm a skater I don't wear that shit so she got mad at me and has stopped talking to me I don't even know is she still my GF she has started to talk to some other guy and I guess that makes me jealous.I guess this is the reason we broke up in the 10th grade we were just too different maybe its time to called it a day and break up I don't know im confused....Very confused.</p>
 
Just wear it dude, for a day. Make her happy. The game is to make them happy.

This is just what I would do, and my opinion on this...I'd break up with her ASAP. If she doesn't like the way I am, and tries to turn me into something I'm not, that wouldn't fly with me. That's not the kind of girlfriend I'd want. I'd want a girl who likes me for who I am, not for who she wants me to be.</p>

Is she like very serious about it, or suggesting it to you? I assumed that her not talking to you, thats she's serious but just asking.</p>

It's very juvenile, my friend is going through something similar, and they've put me in the middle LOL! Advice, don't put somebody in the middle of this!</p>
 
I guess shes very serious about this she doesn't like my Element, DC or Etnies shirts.She wanted me to buy American Eagle and Hollister Clothing.I guess she the only one in her group of friends who has a BF that doesn't wear Hollister there group is all pretty girl/boy I'm the only weird one.I'm different.lol There friends hate me though.</p>

@Peg: Hopefully you're not in the friends zone. Flirt with her, look for signs, and if its reciprocal then go for it. Other wise its unrealistic that she's gonna just throw herself on you; realistically you've been her friend and she has no reason to think you want more (which is true if she's asking a mutual friend if you 'like like' her no matter how middle school that sounds :-/). Therefore if you try and look for signals without giving any subtle ones, you'll just be digging yourself deeper into the F zone.</p>
 
I hate this whole idea of the "friend zone", 99% of relationships start out as friendships. It takes time to get to know some one, you dont just approach a girl, then after one night you're together. Every guy is in the "friend zone" before a relationship blossoms, thats just the way it is. If a girl develops feelings for you, it doesnt matter.

Yeah, I'm pretty sick of hearing about the "friend zone". I don't believe it exists...I think it's more like if they like you, tcool...and if they don't, oh well, you're not their type or w/e.</p>

Realistically I help her around at work alot, she's the person I've helped out the most ever since she got done training at work. And I've given her rides to be nice, and we talk alot...like online. texting, we'll talk alot every once in a while. and I've seen her around at my community college, and actually did a favor for her and gave her a ride home to get a book and then back to school...i ended up bein 10 min late to class haha.</p>

I flirt with her and joke around with her alot at work...so idk what she's thinkin. I'll try flirtin with her, see how she reacts, but i won't be making any big moves any time soon--she just got done wit a relationship wit her BF of a year.</p>

I still gotta wonder tho...it seems sorta weird that she'd have my friend ask me if I like her.</p>
 
Yeah I'd raise a red flag, especially if your friend is prone to bouts of bullsh-</p>

I know it's off-topic, but anyone got friends that lie alot? I got two of em, and it's annoying as hell. Once I found out they were perpetual liars, I trusted them alot loss and started depending on other friends alot more.</p>
