My ex is a dummy.

That time I made out with her...that was the 2nd time she cheated on her boyfriend.

And she told him. And for some reason, he told her he loved her (WTF?) and she didn't say it back or anything. So I stayed away until she went off to college again.

And I was just talking to her. Turns out she went and did it again! Yessir, she cheated on her boyfriend for a 3rd, I repeat, a 3rd time!

Now, this is the sweet part: The guy she cheated on her bf with...actually proceeded to call up her boyfriend and tell him. And now, he won't answer her calls, he's shut her phone off, and won't talk to her. She's freakin out. Cryin' and shit, askin me to come up.

Well, guess what I'm doin? I'm sittin here, comfortably, and not moving an inch. And I don't feel sorry for her one bit.

There is a girl, we like eachother so something is happening there .. she is just boring sometimes and we run out of things to speak about - -which is quite annoying.

I'm 17 years old, and I basically fell in love with this one girl in my school. I'm pretty sure she liked me in the beginning of the year by the way she acted towards me, but now I'm not sure she does anymore. She has called me "annoying" and has told me "you need to grow up" in the past.

In reality, she's absolutely gorgeous, but she's never even kissed someone. She is like afraid of guys, and basically is a 12 years old girl in a woman's body.
My one friend, without telling me, went to her before school started and said that he thinks I like her. She laughed and said "I don't believe you."
I'd tell her, but she comes across as a girl that would be freaked out if I told her that I thought she was cute.
Junior Prom is around the corner, and there's this other pretty girl who likes me (she told me so), but I still like the before mentioned girl, and have zero feelings for the girl who likes me. I doubt anybody is going to ask that girl to the prom because she has that "Afraid of Guys" label.
After her confrontation w/ my friend, sometimes at my lunchtable (she used to make sure that she sat next to me, not any more) she has been giving me looks, and when I look up at her, she would like look the other way. In the hallways, we NEVER make eye contact, but we used to.
My friend says he's going to continue to try and hook me up w/ her, because his reasoning is that, she plans on going to junior prom to hang w/ her friends, who are all going to eventually be asked my guys to the prom because they are hot in their own right, and she isn't going to have a date.
My biggest fear is waiting too long for this girl that I actually like, and lose a potential date who I know likes me. Also, it would kill me if she somehow finds another date, which I highly doubt she is going to.

Some of her friends absolutely hate me, some of them probably would encourage us dating, and some of her other friends are indifferent.

The guy she liked over the summer is one of my new good friends (met him this year) and he tells me I'm wasting my time cuz shes inexperienced, but I really don't care.

What does "I don't believe you" mean? What is my next move?

This is driving me insane. Some of my chick friends say it's a good thing cuz she was smiling, but she always smiles, so my chick friends who know her say that there's no way of telling.
 
Man I'm in a tough predicament, sorta...... I've been talking to this girl the past couple of months, but I don't think it's heading anywhere. At first she was slow to warm (because she thought I was "too perfect" whatever that means), and it bothered me and I let her know. Just when it seemed like things were turning for the better, her mother was killed in a car accident. Obviously it devastated her, but ever since then she's gone back into somewhat of a shell (which is understandable), but now I'm wondering if I should wait this storm out, or just be friends with the girl and move on. Phone conversations are now a little weird, and it seems like I do most of the talking...sometimes it seems like I have to pull teeth to get her to talk. It's even gotten to the point where I just don't look forward to talking to her on the phone. Last night I sent her some text messages, and all I got back were some short responses that seemed a little "distant." I didn't call her, and instead elected to watch basketball..........I feel like I'd be a jerk for telling her it just isn't going to work, especially after she just lost her mother, but I don't think I want to put in the effort anymore if a relationship with her will mean a up and down rollercoaster. And I've already told her that she can always talk to me if she's not feeling good, because I do want to be there for her, but right now she's making it a little hard....................wut should me do?

Why would you exclusively give this "distant" girl your attention? What has she done for you?

Get a couple of girls and she'll be begging to be with you. At the moment she's either not interested or thinks you're soft and just "friend" material for some reason (not saying you are, just that she has the wrong impression of you). Build other networks.

Well she was getting closer to me, before her mother passed away. The main reason why she was distant initially was, because she was one of those girls that believed "95% men are all dogs"......I told her that I have my flaws like any other person, but that I don't treat my girlfriends wrong, and I even let it show in my actions....she eventually started to warm up. After her mother died she told me that she was happy I was apart of her life, but since then she's gone back into her shell a tad bit. I can tell that she's kind of shy and hesistant when it comes to expressing her feelings and I try to take that into consideration, but yeah I'm thinking about "networking" like you stated....it's frustrating when you don't have a good "grip" on an individual.

A girl that I met a couple months back is coming into town this weekend also, and she wants to hang out. Since me and the other girl are still officially "talking" I thought it would be a good idea to make it a "group outing" with some friends so it won't seem like I'm going behind her back. The good thing is the girl goes to school in Boston, otherwise it would make things more complicated since I am attracted to her, since we have so much in common...............

She gives you attention, but she treats you like garbage. Women are indeed correct to think most Men are dogs (I'm not though).

If this Distant Girl is not your girlfriend, asking out that Boston Girl on a date would not be back stabbing. I <u>recommend</u> you do it because girls flock to guys that are already taken or that get attention from other pretty girls. It's a stamp of approval and shows how much value you have.

I would say that not having your feelings reciprocated is bastard-like treatment.

So I am trying to hook up my one friend with a girl I know. I think he was trying to return the favor, and the girl that I told you guys about (a couple of posts above this one) apparently now thinks I'm a creep????

I don't know what to do. I've started telling everyone to stop talking about me and her becoming something, because she made it pretty clear that it is pissing her off as well.
 
Just talk to the girl about it, and say you don't really want anything. Girls are generally nice.

I don't know about prom. I hate living here as far as prom goes. I really don't care for these things. I will only go if this one girl says yes, otherwise I could care less. Even then, I don't know if I should go. I think I'd be happier not going to prom, and being $500+ richer, rather than going to prom, and not having that money.
 
Yeah my friends are just nagging me to ask that girl that likes me, cuz shes cute and nice and all. I don't really like her any more than a friend, and very unlikely will ever like her more than that, but that is probably what I'm going to end up doing, even though I would be much happier if I was going with the other girl.

I swear she's leading me on, and I'm not a sucker for leadons, I've learned the hard way from them.
I'm asking the girl that likes me for sure next month (month before prom).
