the way I see it, the same could be said for our current roster:
Have a healthy LMA and G.O. winning the post game, while getting defensive stops.
Relentlessly pushing the pace with Batum, Wallace, Wes, Felton, LMA, etc.
Own the Glass, own the game. LMA, Camby, G.O., back-up PF ???
If we can effectively do these three things I think the rest will fall into place. The Blazers over the last couple seasons have had some near perfect quarters, and all those things were integral. Flashes of brilliance are not enough, time for this team to step it up. Well whenever the owners/players grow up and get a deal done.
