I don't have a clue but I would not at all be surprised if Batum is signed and traded and not necessarily to Minny, IMO no way Neil gives up an asset and just lets Nic go to Minny, they can dream but it ain't happenin IMO

Reading more into it. Claver is bee lining it over here to sign a contract in the middle of the Olympic preparations. He is actually missing a game tonight because of it. Could he be involved in the S&T? He's Spanish like Rubio, maybe they have a good relationship?

We're not going to comment on free agents. We're in the moratorium. He's going through his process. As was reported, we had lunch with his agent. We had a good discussion with him. We have some strategic htings that will have to be handled. We're all working off word of mouth until tomorrow night at 9 o'clock.

I think that if the team chooses not to match Batum, most fans would understand that the team is in rebuild mode. Which is OK, to me. The team doesn't have very many good players and it needs to be rebuilt.

we have lots of cap space and 2 lottery picks this year. We've essentially already "rebuilt". we just need to fill in the gaps. What does "rebuilding" mean to you?

Would that be so bad? His value would be pretty high because suddenly he would be a bargain. And we'd have a year to convince him that this system works for him, to discover that Rubio's knee injury was career ending and to fire his fucking agent.

I suppose. I just have a feeling that the well is getting kind of poisoned and that it's all going to end rather badly.
