I am conflicted over this Arod situation.

First, not because I am going to defend Arod or offer any excuse for his apparent actions. But because enough already, MLB needs to release the information and announce their intentions in regards to Arod immediately. Get on with the pennant races and the focus on the field. There are great stories every night. Teams like Cleveland and the Pirates are making a run, KC is hovering in it still, Red Soxs and Rays are doing battle, umpires are missing calls, but the major story is still Arod speculation. Stop the speculation so that we can move on. Do all this Bud for "The Best Interest of Baseball".

Agreed! I think you said it best with 2 words of the second sentence... enough already...

...been over this before...MLB is NOT going to show their hand just yet...and they shouldn't.

How can they not, the toothpaste is out of the tube, End all the speculation.

I think they want A-rod to keep wondering a little longer when that anvil is going to fall on his head

It's probably more likely that they want their ducks all in a row so that there is no way A-Rod can get out of it... Other then that, I can't see a plausible reason they are waiting

why shouldn't they?

...again, we've been over this before. You don't tell they enemy in advance, what your intentions are or next move is. It's just common sense.

...MLB can keep ARod off the field by invoking the "just cause" clause...then down the road, hit him again with the PEDs charge.

I believe MLB is taking it's time, because they have more on Arod than just PED use. I hope they a making him a "special case", and the penalty will dwarf what Braun ended up with.

^^^ yup, to use a wise man's cliche', ARod is gonna get "a good rogering".
