All the men think it's fine to call a man "dick," and "cock," and that a vulgar term for the penis is OK as an all purpose cuss.

Would you prefer it if we treated women differently? Are they so delicate that their genitalia deserve special protection that we don't afford our own?

I think what you're really offended by is that men like saying disgusting things, and disgusting things focused on your own gender sting more.

Not much to be done about it, though. Men are basically a bunch of foul-mouthed cunts.
 
My wife hates the C word more than any other word. She'd kick me in the nuts if I ever called her that, then kick me again when the pain was gone and I could finally stand again.
 
As a woman I have no problem with the word cunt. One of my friends called me it once just to see how I would react and all our other friends just went silent thinking that I would massacre him.

I just laughed.

Hilarious thread. That clip Ed posted was brilliant.

I use the word often, but I don't think I've ever said it to a girl as a spiteful comment. Any thing goes within my inner circle, male and female, but that is just trust and friendship. Cussing at each other is like a term of endearment. If I don't cuss at you, I probably don't like you. C word included.

In fact, every sunday during the football season, we go to a bar in NE Portland called McGillacuddies (sp?) but we warmly refer to it only as "cunties."
