Jason Kidd makes his return to the Meadowlands on Friday, and it’s never to early to start talking about it. Rod Thorn keeps in touch with Kidd and says that, while he’s happy with the trade he made, he still roots for his former point guard. Thorn also says that he believes Kidd really couldn’t play when he missed an early December game against the Knicks with a migraine. No matter how it ended, the Sez wants the New Jersey faithful to show their appreciation for all that Kidd did.
Julian Garcia - New York Daily News
Gary Sussman - New Jersey Nets

Jason Kidd sucks a fat one and is a complete disappointment. He might be amongst the bottom-five PG's in the league.

Hi, Joker!

that maybe true stat wise, but he manages to get his teams to win. That is the most important stat of all for a point guard...

ill be there! Can't wait! I'm bringing my girl, and driving up from delaware. itll be her first game.

He must be a fake Nets fan.

I'll be there at the game, too. I'll try to find my "In Kidd We Trust" T-shirt to wear.

I'm wear my "In Kidd We Trust" shirt, but I'll wear my Devin Harris Jersey over it, and I won't stand for a standing ovation, hope he doesn't get one cheering him and clapping I think he should get, but I don't think he should get a standing ovation

I'm going to be bringing a sign with me to the game that reads "MIGRAINE".

I hope your sign doesn't get confiscated...that would be awesome.

In the poll last week, it looks like about 54% will welcome him back...38% are pissed off and won't cheer. The remaining 8%...have lost their ability to emote.

My hope is Devin drops 40 on him and we put a stop to that Maverick winning streak...my worst nightmare is he has a great game against us.

There was a great suggestion on the thread on this last week...when Kidd is announced, we all start cheering "Dev-in Har-ris...clap,clap, clap-clap-clap". And repeat multiple times.

I'm up for that.

maybe someone could smuggle in a giant bottle of asprin and hold it up every time he shoots foul shots....

VC and JKidd going up against each other would also be interesting..

Can't wait to see Harris blazing past Kidd on Friday :D

that'd be awesome if someone did that. Someone could try and make a sign that looks like a big asprin bottle:clap:

I'll be happy if the Nets win and Jkidds gets schooled by the blurr.

This will be the first Nets game I'm going to since the 2006-2007 season. I don't want to jinx it, but the Nets are undefeated in games I go to. 8 and 0, baby.

I hope they don't confiscate it, it'd be perfect too because I plan on sitting right behind the Mavs bench.

The aspirin bottle idea is great though, someone should get on that lol.

I hope Devin drops 40 or gets a tripe double.

Honestly, Jason Kidd is the least of the Nets worries. Take Dirk Nowitzki's games in December and add the Nets defense against opposing big men...

I hope Kidd doens't hold a grudge against us, cause we all saw what happened to Chicago and Scott Skiles when he did. And, as far as Dirk going off don't worry we have Yi to handle him. Their games are so similar, right?

I don't think Kidd holds any grudge against NJ. Not like with PHX and Skiles. He wanted out and Thorn obliged while helping himself out. Then again the booing may egg him on. The guy plays better with a chip on his shoulder.

at least they are 8 and 0 when you go, because since last season when we had Kidd they have been 0 and 14 when I go:ohno:

well we gotta learn to play defense at sometime, why not start by playing great against Dirk and the Mavs and beating them:clap:
