Holy hell what a strange season ET has had. He was horrendous last night, in a playoff game where we played 10 guys meaningful minutes and somehow everyone of them felt dialed in and emotionally invested but him (maybe I'm reading too much into his awfulness on the court...)
I know this is insane to suggest, and I'm really trying hard to not overreact to one game from Simons or a couple absolute dog turds from ET, but at what point do we either pull the plug on ET's minutes and give the rookie a chance, or, just flatout push Dame and CJ to their playing time maxes?
You're already seeing some of it with Rodney and Seth instigating a lot of the second team offense, so maybe the answer is just giving Jake ET's minutes and riding without a true PG? I don't know the answer, but I'm getting very very close to being completely sold on the fact that Evan Turner (despite seeing an NBA record just a few weeks ago) isn't it...
