I've seen it three times in theaters and I'd like to see it just one more before it hits DVD sometime in December.

I believe it'll be Two Face as the main villain in the third film, I still don't know who they could use as a side character. They need to make Batman acceptable to Gotham City, again.

I just saw this for a third time last night. Still as awesome as the first two times I saw it.

I'd like to say that Two Face will be the main villain in the next one, but I don't see it. I can see maybe using Scarecrow, since he's still around. Had Ledger not died, I'm sure Joker would have been tied in to it, but with his passing, it makes me wonder if they'd be willing to use Joker again.

I think they would've used him as a supporting character in any other movie, but they'll probably keep him out with Ledger's passing. I agree with that decision, and I think its very easy to explain the Joker's absence. He's insane after all.

Apparently the executive producer said the end scene was made purposely ambiguous, so that they have the option of making Dent dead or having Two Face as the villain in the third movie. I still believe that making a third movie centered around Two Face completely affects how I think of this one. If they do it right, this one looks that much more amazing. Without it, the ending feels way too rushed.

Two-Face and Catwoman would be my choices for the 3rd movie.

The riddler and Bane would be 3rd/4th choices.

Check out these pics of the early Joker concept art:

Wonder how they settled on the final Joker look. Like they say in the link, it seems a lot tamer and tbh it would have been difficult to notice the scars in the movie with the final design if they didn't mention it. I do like the final one more but these ones are pretty cool and a lot creepier.

Heath Ledger's acting - superb. For the most part the writing was amazing. Especially the way the film progressed and presented the characters. However, the ending was absolutely god-awful and ruined the film for me.

I liked the first three pictures, I think that is definitely the right look.

As you said, one could barely notice the "scars" Joker had (I did notice them briefly when he and his gang dressed up as those cops and shot Gordon).

Yes, it's true. Aaron Eckhart says goodbye to Batman. At the press day for his upcoming indie film Towelhead, ComingSoon.net/Superhero Hype! talked to the actor who portrayed Harvey Dent/Two-Face in The Dark Knight. He told us he's definitely not signed on for another film and confirmed his character is dead.

Eckhart laughed about how he tried to ask if there was a chance he was coming back and was good-humored about the deadly fate of Dent.

CS/SHH!: Is Harvey Dent alive?
Aaron Eckhart: No. He is dead as a door nail.

CS/SHH!: So he's not coming back?
Eckhart: He ain't coming back baby!

A big flaw in The Dark Knight if this is true. Two-Face deserves more than 20 minutes of screen-time.

As surprising and shocking as this may sound, I still havent seen the Dark Knight!

Doesn't surprise me, coming from you. You let everybody down.

LOL, dont worry man, Ima watch it soon! haha

Akira, Bane has already been in a batman film. I would love it to be a villain that haven't seen yet. All the enemies on film on can remember are

Joker x2
Catwoman
Penguin
Poison Ivy
Bane
Mr Freeze
Riddler
Two face

I thought bane and Ivy were weak in Batman & Robin

Everything in Batman and Robin was weak.

True lol.

So was batman forever, the only thing that made that watchable was Jim Carrey's performance. No where near Ledger as far as portraying a deranged person but it was still enjoyable

9) Even though Aaron Eckhart has gone on record stating that Two-Face won't return, a lot can happen between Eckhart's interview and the release of the third film. Heath Ledger's death and fans' positive reaction to Two-Face, may lead the filmmakers to change whatever plans they may have had for the third movie.
