Chutney is spot on though, Nolan is
perfect for
Punisher</div>
I enjoyed the Punisher movie was okay. The comic books just never did anything for movie. The movie at least had a sense of humor. I enjoyed Ghost Rider (movie) but found the comics too pretentious and supernatural.
I'd like to see Kevin 'Silent Bob' Smith get a Superhero movie to direct. He was up for Superman returns. He could not have done any worse than the goober that did it.
There is a remake/redo of Hulk coming out 6/13 with Edward Norton.

Idunno, man. I have the graphic novel of the series they based the majority of that movie from (the "Welcome Back, Frank" series) and I thought they re-did a couple memorable scenes, but skimmed through the majority of the plot and totally missed the atmosphere/mood you get from the comics. It should've been a lot darker, they needed to do a better job of building up his family's death (I didn't feel enough of an attachment to truly empathize), and the villains needed to be more heartless (casting Travolta was a mistake). But most of all, the comics really convey how much of an uphill battle it is for the Punisher, whereas you never felt that sense of desperation/hopelessness in the film.
Also, they screwed up royally by not including the zoo scene. That was friggin' awesome in the comics.
