yes. he is such a terrible candidate. too bad the republicans didn't elect someone who could possibly win.

No, he's a good politician. He's super phony and flip-flops a ton. I see why republicans elected him.

weren't you one of the ones who earlier mocked him for not being a good candidate?

i know that was the lib meme going around the block.

No. It was his fellow Republican's that mocked him.

I've been making it a point to mention when people called him a poor candidate. at least on this board, it was more the dirt lovin' liberals!

Watch the video. Its apparent there's no love for Romney by his fellow GOP'ers.

Im not going to bother looking at the link. can someone describe it quickly?

Republican version of the 3am and the phone is ringing commercial.

Republicans ripping into Romney during the primaries something fierce. They are calling him a liar, a flip flopper, questioning his character, and worse.

How'd it work out for those republicans?

kthxbye

it's statements like this that make you look Republican.

Really?

I pointed out that the more people bashed him, the more he won.

In the end, Obama may well have learned the same lesson.

yes, really.

And I hate to break it to you, there's a reason those bums lost against him. It's because Newt, Michelle, Rick Perry, Rick Santorum, Hunstman and Herman Cain aren't even close to being the political opponent that Obama is.

But you said it so gleefully though.

I did?

The more republicans attacked Clinton (like during impeachment), the more popular he became. The more Clinton simply went on TV, the less popular he became. Go figure.

Democrats made personal attacks on Ike, Reagan, and W, and all three ended up serving two terms.

A little ham handed, but makes the point. http://www.examiner.com/article/are-republicans-stupid

the "kthxbye" bit is what I assume Baracuda is referring too.

And?

The republicans we both refer to (like those in the video) may rally around the party's nominee, but their choice for nominee LOST.

That's where those republicans are now - supporting NOT their choice.

Dirty Filthy Mormon!! :MARIS61:

Stick to fart jokes, kook.

Hillary was the front-runner in 2008. She blasted Obama in the primaries. Now, she works for him.

What a stupid thread.

for someone who claims to not be a republican, or support a republican in this race, you sure take pleasure in defending said republican.
