The Dirty Mormon

It's the same-old, same-old. Each party appeals to its base during the primaries and then tack to the center for the general. As for flip-flopping, I don't think Romney is a very ideological guy. On social issues, I think he has strong personal convictions, but not strong political ones. On economic issues, I think he really does think this is a government in need of a turnaround, and he's arguably the most capable of doing it. Anything else is just noise.

Wow. Just read the actual source. What the hell was that. A 3rd-grader has better writing skills.

MickZagger is a 1%er. In being a kook, that is. Loading packages, wishing for driving school, and visiting kook sites while being single and nearing 30.

Quite the life.

Struck a nerve?

....and you're batting .100 in the way your autobiography matches my real biography. Keep taking notes.

This.

Zagger is the most bigoted poster on this board. It's weird.

Papa G, please stop with the personal insults. You can insult his post, his opinion or me but you have to stop the personal insults.

It's like its a nervous twitch of his. Same with Blazerboy.

Just because you're a Republican doesn't mean you need to be angry all the time.

I'm just trying to keep the lunacy fair and balanced. If they can't handle it, they need to sit in the corner in timeout.

You ignored my question:

Where does your hatred towards Mormons come from?

You have made other (than 'dirty Mormon') comments. Like the magic underware comment.

I don't get it with the left. They are tolerant of gays, minorities, illegal immigrants, people who terminate pregnacy, but they are intolerant of religion. (I know, it's not fair to throw all into the same kettle.)

Most wars are started waving a flag of religion.

Making fun of stupid traditions now constitutes as 'hate'?

I didn't see any joking about traditions here. Just calling out somebody as a "dirty Mormon". Yeah, that is closer to hate than making fun of traditions. Further, you're calling out an individual, not actually the traditions.

yeah, not that different from calling someone a dirty jew.

Most wars are started waving a flag of religion.

That's basically the definition of bigot and prejudice. Grouping all people of a certain label as the same as the ones causing the problems.

Did you know that 40% of federal inmates are non-Hispanic blacks while they only account for 13% of the US population?

Romney should just change his name to "NotObama" because that's the only reason anybody's voting for him.

He would need also to call himself "NotBush" if the world hadn't in fact started in January 2009.

There's dirty Catholics, dirty Liberals, dirty wannabe Stanford grads.

I haven't made fun of the Mormon religion as a whole?

Yes I did. So I win this argument?

Did you get my point?

That everyone at Stanford refuses to lose an argument? Or that it's always wrong to try to put people into boxes and categories, especially when it involves minorities?

I didn't say a word about hate. I will say that I agree that your intolerance is bigoted. (And, no I'm not Mormon.)

Because Mormon's and Jews have come remotely close to enduring the same type of things throughout their existence....

LOLZ!

Apparently you're unaware of the Mormon extermination order from the governor Boggs of Missouri on October 27, 1838 that wasn't officially rescinded until 1976. Obviously the Holocaust trumps the extermination order, but I just thought you should know that it was actually legal to kill Mormons in Missouri for over 100 years.

Was that when everybody had 10 wives? I can see how that would draw some anger by the Missourans. Back in the 1800's.

That's when the phrase, "show me" came into existence.

Sarcastic or not, it's interesting that you're justifying the murder of a group of people because you disagree with their beliefs.

Am I justifying it?

All I'm saying is that in the 1800's they probably didn't have much tolerance for strange religions coming in and having tons of wives. I'm not saying it was okay, just giving my opinion of why they could have perceived as they did.
