Problem is he not good on the other side of the ball like the defense end and not a strong rebounder and rim protector.

If what see him play Arizona playing on TV right now.

OK I watched the game today. He is young and not very strong...yet. But he did protect the rim. He has good timing on his blocks.

Today Markkanen show me something that I haven't seen he was aggressive on the boards and had some nice blocks. He change my mind about him today with being aggressive on the defense side.

Yea he did a nice job today and most freshman coming out this year draft is not physical strong. But that all change when they get in the NBA.

ASU is a pretty useless team to scout Markkanen against. Not much nba size or athleticism.

Not many college teams have NBA size or athleticism. (If any) That is the problem with scouting any of these guys. But ASU does spread you out and force you to guard the perimeter which Lauri will have to do as a pF in the NBA

Nurk has completely saved the season for me. A late season playoff push was meaningless before because it was just more of the same from last year. I'd rather have just got the draft pick.

Now, though, I'd rather focus on getting our 22 year old Center of the Future real playoff experience and building a winning culture. If he and Dame can become cemented as franchise cornerstones, I think trading CJ for that third big piece becomes much more likely.

Lotto or not I am digging the Mock that we have as of right now on Draft Express. I really would like our team to have a bigger backup PG. Obviously we need a better prospect at PF, and we definitely need a backup C. This is how Draft Express has us right now.

#10 FRANK NTILIKINA 6'5" PG: Okay there's my bigger backup PG. Very smooth unselfish player LOCKDOWN MULTIPOSITIONAL DEFENDER.... Boom. I'm not super in touch with the International players but the Strengths on this guy look like he would be the perfect compliment to Dame and CJ.

#21 Ivan Rabb 6'10" PF: I like this kids game especially at #21. Balanced player not overly athletic but has good footwork, decent defender, needs to add some weight though, would definitely give Vonleh a run for the starting role next season IMO. With Rabb and Vonleh I would expect one to take over the starting spot and the other to be a great compliment off the bench.

#27: Bam Adebayo 6'10" C (250lbs): This kid is very stout, and athletic 9' standing reach with 39.5" vertical leap. Looks to be a good defender and competent on the offensive end as well.

I feel like those guys (Assuming we keep picks) fill out our roster nicely.

Definitely. Nurk is so big and already so refined that I just kind of think of him as this 27 or 28 year old. Dude is 22! If he were in the draft this year he'd easily be a top 5 pick. Plus that other first round pick we got. That's a lot of cake to get for Plumlee. Completely makes up for the colossal fuckups of the contracts we signed last summer.

I really want to see him in the playoffs. You see so many guys just develop this stink of losing about them at the beginning of their careers that they never shrug off. Even if it's just a Golden State sweep, it's worth it just to build the experience.

I want the Playoffs for this team. the youngest roster in the league. But they are playing much older than that right now. SOLID!

The 3 team in the hunt for 8th seed. Denver and Dallas and us. We are playing good ball right now so the 2 teams that stub there toe in 20 games will be watching the playoffs.

That's a lot of cake for Rondae Hollis-Jefferson. :)

Blazers are on their 4th 3-game win streak of the year. If they win the next one, they'll have their first 4-game win streak of the year. Go Blazers!

We need to find a way to draft Jordan Bell. Whether it's with the Cavs pick or we trade/purchase a 2nd round pick and draft him there, we need to make ti happen. All this guy cares about is winning, blocking shots, rebounding the basketball, and DEFENSE.

CJ is'nt going anywhere, enough of this nonsense!
Why can't CJ just BE?

I refereed all day. How'd he do? I'm on the Lauri bandwagon myself.

He took over at one point with some blocks and rebounds and a couple dunks. He did not shoot well from deep, but showed good timing with his blocks. We know he has to get stronger, but that should be easy.
