I liked that kobe commercial

I thought he was funny. Why is tonight his last game, not renewing?

Free Throw guy is all good in my book.

Like him or not, his passion is evident and cant be denied.
I think he looks silly at times, but who am I to knock someone trying so hard to help the Blazers out?

@BlazerWookee should replace him. Coors Light's version of Duffman!

Jeez. I just thought he was just off his medication. Well. He was entertaining.

Blazer fans, friends and family,

For the past 9 seasons I have left every emotion possible at the Rose Garden and the Moda Center.

Tonight will be my 392nd game in a row.
December 17, 2007 through April 13, 2016.

I have been very fortunate to get to express my views on basketball via opposing free throw shooters.

Going into the game tonight the Blazers are tied for the lead in opposition free throw percentage. I am very happy that regardless of the "Free Throw Guy effect" our team has been fortunate to succeed in points that can hurt the most "free" points.

I will say, I do not believe that every miss at my end was about FTG, not at all, my goal was to get in their heads, make them perform at the highest level in that moment.

That is a lot of build up to say what has been known for some time.
Tonight is my last regular season game, as it stands now. If I were to come into the right sponsorship or partnership then I own the rights to FTG and I can do whatever I want with it, but for now, on my own this is it. I've known FTG had a shelf life, I knew that the day we traded my favorite player ever for the Blazers, Marcus Camby. Now, that trade turned into Dame so there is good from that March 15th, but I knew that day FTG would not be forever. After last season I really thought about calling it, last year and the moves we made were definitely the sign of the changing of the guard.
Maybe down the road, FTG will make an appearance at a game, and maybe not, time will tell.

Let's be clear, I am continuing this as long as our playoff run this year.

The list of people who need to be thanked is getting long, which is good, at the end of our playoff run I will be posting that.
For now my thanks go out to my starting 5, my late Grandfather, Bill Hanson, my mother, Kathy Ems, Oana Sufaru, Sherri Hiner and Marcus Camby. All of you played huge parts in my commitment to making it to 392 games, without missing any.
I said when I started that if all the players were younger than me or we won the championship, I'd call it. Chris Kaman is a free agent July1. I will then be older than our team at that point.
Now I could keep going, and going, but I can't be 40 and doing this.... I can't be 35 and doing this...

Thus.....

Rip City it has been a blast, I'm tired, I love the Portland Trail Blazers and I love you Rip City!!!

And my favorite thing to type is:
BLAZERS WIN OH YEAH OUR BLAZERS WIN AGAIN!!!!

THANK YOU ALL FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART, I WILL SEE YOU TONIGHT for 392!!

I'm offended that he calls himself Free Throw Guy.

It should be Free Throw Gender Neutral Fan, or @EL PRESIDENTE for short. :MARIS61:

Damn mods changing my posts

So my big gripe with this guy is I always get the sense that his "superfan" persona is all about stroking his ego for attention. The fact he wrote a retirement letter to fans is proof of that. If you're a superfan you shouldn't have to point it out.
