The chances of beating Trump by those that have announced so far, are all slightly above zero. Signing on to the need of drastic change or the world ends in 12 years
is not a winning hand, no matter the how wild the cheer from the hopeful.

Actually it's looking much better for the dems than it is for trump as all the polls show that pretty much any democratic candidate would beat trump.

Gee, where have we heard the poll argument against Trump before? Don't get me wrong, I want his butt out of office, but the wrong candidate and/or overconfidence could be a killer for the Dems again. They're great at both.

fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. People are much more aware and the women have come to vote as what was shown in the mid terms. Sure polls are never exact, but if I were a betting man, it wouldn't be with Trump. He has his base, but not a whole lot anymore and his base isn't near big enough to carry him.

Oh yeah. Started with an industrial 3034 engine as the basis, then marinized to special requirements. For instance, the exhaust manifold is sea water cooled
so it is always cold and never an impediment to working on the engine or over heating the compartment.

He’s got the pedophile vote, so that’s a good start.
Maybe they can vote in La Pine but no where else.
Do you have any proof of your wild eyed claim?

Is this main propulsion? Are you driving a marine alternator with it or both?

Portland would need to offer $1.5 billion in incentives to land Amazon here, NY has no such need. It's fucking NY.

It is the main engine.
There is Kubota 2 cylinder driving a couple alternators for charging batteries. I usually charge batteries at abut 120 amp with the little diesel.
The main will do about 70 cruising if needed but it normally is keeping stuff running, cranking out about 30. But it will make a pot of coffee
via the inverter or cook a pot of bean in the Crock pot when cruising.

Hmm...didn't we already do that routine a couple years ago? :dunno:

Gave the finger to 25,000 jobs for NY'ers, and all the thousands of jobs and development that goes along with it.

And has nothing to offer in return to the hundred thousand or so voters she just fucked over in a big economic way.

She's a pompous, sociopathic bitch, and an excellent example of Socialism, where the government takes everything from everyone including their pride, and gives them nothing in return.

Nope, a lot of people did not know how unhinged this con man was two years ago.
Now, he's about to get rebuked in the courts yet again. He's an idiot.

Crock pots are out, it's all about the insta pot now.
Oh dang! I didn't even know what that is. Had to look it up. umm, not at all sure I need one.
When I was a wee lad, I lived with my grandmother for awhile after I had lost both my parents. She was big on cooking with a pressure cooker.
Damn man! Every thing that come out of one of those things tastes the same. Make the dog move to the neighbors.

I think I will stick with the Crock pot. Pressure cooker would be good for caning meat though, you can get the heat high enough to kill about every pathogen possible that might contaminate it. Ah hell, I will just load the boat full of good shit before I go to wilds of Baja.

I think you must be unclear on the definition of 'goals'.

barfo

Eh??

To me REALISTIC goals must have some sort of vague path at minimim. How many steps to take to get there.

Shit i could say my goal is to be president. Im legally allowed to do so. But without a platform laid out explaining the steps i need to take in order to attain this goal, its just a fantasy.

Goals must be objective & measurable with tactics on how to accomplish.

Says who? Tactics and goals are two very different things.

If you drive your car into an icy river, your immediate goal should become getting out of the water. You might very well formulate that goal before deciding on exactly how to do it. Maybe you swim for it. Maybe you climb on top of the car and wait for rescue. In fact, it might turn out not be possible to get out of the river, and you die - but that still doesn't mean your goal was somehow poorly chosen.

Lots of people have unrealistic goals. Lots of people make unrealistic plans.

Maybe your plan to get elected is to make lots of posts on S2. That's a plan, but it's not going to work, so it doesn't make your goal any less of a fantasy.

Get real..
Thats true they are different. Tactics are what you implement in order to achieve a measurable objective goal.

If you drive your car in a river and you panic your goal of getting to safety decreasing if you lose your composure and not figure (tactfully) how to get out. This why its important to have tactics when you establish measurable objective goals. Remember, if you don't know where you going you will end up somewhere else. What gets measured gets done, generally.

Do you ever agree with what someone says or even partially or is it a rush to throw counters?

Sure, if I agree I usually don't bother responding. Not a big fan of constantly posting "THIS."

Conception of an goal usually comes before tactics to achieve the goal. With complex goals, the tactics may take quite some time to work out.

When we decided to go to the moon, were all of the tactics fully worked out before the goal was announced? When we entered WWII, were all the battle plans drawn up ahead of time?

Goal - Send team to the moon...time line
Tactic - establish engineering team....time line
Tactic - decide what launch site to use...time line
Tactic - Procure rocket engines...time line
etc..

Goal - get team back from the moon...time line
Tactic - assemble retrieve team...time line
Tactic - check off on all systems a go...time line

Goal - acquire super star small forward....time line
Tactic - contacts all agents...time line
Tactic - narrow targets to two potentials...time line
tactic - make offers and sign....time line

Goals can be weighted as priority
Goals must be measurable
