Yes, it was an Oregonlive thing. I can't remember how it started.

I can't remember who it was but one time someone and I got into it on Oregonlive. He challenged me to a fight in the parking lot of a bar. It wasn't that far from home so I actually showed up. He didn't.

Then a different time someone else wanted to fight me over some BS argument. It was weird, he only wanted to fight me in Vancouver, set day and time. I shined him on, saying that I'd be there but had no intention going. Anyway day of the fight and I don't show. Look on the forum a couple of hours later figuring he'd be on there calling me a pussy for not showing but he wasn't. Next day still not there. Day after that, nope still hadn't posted. A week goes by and he finally posts. Thanking me. Happy. Apologizing. He claims he went to the park to kick my ass and ended up meeting a woman. His entire demeanor changed after that. Claimed they were in love. Eventually he stopped posting. Not sure if it was true but I'd like to think it was.

Yup, showed up, took a picture of his car in the Mt Tabor parking lot and a picture of a squirrel.

I know of one poster, can't remember his name. He wanted to fight me so badly. Anyway, I was on my trip to Portland with my ex wife. I told him that I was coming to pdx, so he has his chance to fight me.

He found out what hotel I was staying at and waited for me in the lobby. I thought he was full of shit until I heard the message on my room phone. He said he was in the lobby ready to fight. It was a day I didn't pay attention and it was a day late.

I don't think I would have gone down there to fight him. But I thought it was strange how he made such an effort to find me.

That'd make for an interesting first impression.

"I'm here to beat up some guy I know from an online mes...er...I enjoy the rain the park and other things"
 
I haven't been to O-Live in years. I used to love that place.
