Initially, I was noting him as forgotten not only by Blazer fans, but by the national media. He's the best free agent point guard available in this summer of unprecedented cap room, and most people aren't even aware that he's a free agent.
Miller is 34; Felton is 25. Felton is a better defender and outside shooter than Miller. Felton can play effectively off the ball. Miller may be a better player overall, but Felton will be around a lot longer, and would probably be a better fit next to Roy.
I don't know enough about Felton to comment. If you are right, then he sounds like he would be OK. I feel like the Blazers need to shake things up a bit. We need something else on this team. It could be a PG, maybe a new PF.
Really though that should occur at the coaching level (Thibedeau anyone? Heck I'd take *gasp* Laimbeer). We can put the Olympic team on the floor, but if Nate has the reins we will lose. One thing I will say as a caveat, is that health more then anything determined our Sub-Par season. With a consistently healthy Oden and Roy this team could look ring worthy. Will we ever get that? I don't know. God I hope so.
Due to family things I barely saw the second half of the season and got most of my info second hand of this forum with a quick read. So to sum up I'm talking out of my ass. Go Blazers!
