No, I started saying it about 5 or 6 years ago and stopped once he lost the election (aside from his attempted insurrection). I didn't start again until it looked like he may have a chance to win a 2nd term.

I was always most concerned about a Trump 2nd term.

I don't mean effect on Trump and his cronies, but on other elected officials.

If people put *a lot* of pressure on their elected representatives, rather than sitting back and waiting for them to act first, that will have some effect.

Failing that, I'd suggest a general strike. But maybe there's a better suggestion.

We need to flip red states to blue. Having protests in blue states is not going to get it done. He needs to be impeached by the house and senate. That will only happen if the Dems take both. But.... if he's impeached we just get JD Vance.

It would need to be a joint effort by California, Washington, and Oregon with assurances from European allies that they would support us. But there's really nothing else we can do.

I was just thinking today about how hard it must be for a lot of people to cope with losing 8 years of their prime life to this crap. Obama was president during my college years so I’m grateful for that at least.
