Let's think this through rationally. Here are the teams with their current records:

Good teams that (a) don't want Giannis, or (b) simply lack the resources to get him without crippling themselves:
OKC (a)
Denver (b)
Minny (b)
Phoenix (b)
One would put Miami and New York into the (b) category, except that Giannis favors them, so that's an advantage for them
I'm going to include the Clips in (b) even though they're shit, because they should be good, but they have no assets.
Then there are the shitty teams that he'd just refuse to go to:
Charlotte, Brooklyn, Memphis (improving, but it's in Memphis), Sacramento, New Orleans, Washington, Jazz (again, he ain't going to Utah, even if they're not that bad)
That leaves
Detroit, Toronto, Knicks, Miami, Orlando, Boston, Atlanta, Cleveland, Philly, Chicago (apparently his guys
called Chicago and they said they weren't interested! But that could change), Indiana (currently shit but could bounce back), Lakers, Rockets, Spurs, Warriors (oh look, they're offering a Kuminga package!), Dallas...and us.
So: name the best package for each of these:
Detroit
Toronto
Knicks
Miami
Orlando
Boston
Atlanta
Cleveland
Philly
Chicago
Indiana
Lakers
Rockets
Spurs
Warriors
Dallas
Portland
I think Orlando SHOULD offer Banchero and Detroit should offer Duren (just because they are unlikely to be able to retain him), Cleveland SHOULD offer Mobley (I think he's hit his ceiling), Philly SHOULD offer VJ and possibly also McCain, Indiana SHOULD offer Pascal and Atlanta have the New Orleans 2026 pick. I also think that East Coast teams have the advantage that Giannis wants to be able to be as close to Greece as possible (not just ease of travel but time zone).
I think
Atlanta could have him if they want him.
Detroit has a strong chance (Duren + Ivey) and
Cavs as well.
Spurs certainly have the assets, but probably don't want to mess up their timeline. We also have the advantage of the Bucks' picks, of course, but Atlanta's New Orleans pick trumps that, and it can be good even if the Bucks don't tank.
Toronto would probably
not offer Scottie Barnes and prefer to offer Ingram, but I think Ingram and Giannis would work together much better than Giannis and Barnes, although having said that, Barnes has hit more threes than Ingram at a higher percentage.
If I had to bet money, though, I think he'll end up in NY or Miami. I think Milwaukee will want to keep him happy not just because of the loyalty he already showed them (and the championship he gave them) but because it sends a good signal to players round the league.
