If you really feel that a Portland Trail Blazer forum is the place to have a discussion about race please do it in the OT section.

Of course not. I literally just googled it because I got my wife a bowl for her birthday because she is adorable, and thought I would mock dviss with it.

Because of me calling some basketball players colored, he will take everything I post and look for racism.

That's fine. I dont care, but he is going to drive himself crazy, and that makes me sad for him. We are all here to enjoy ourselves in our own way. I hope he can do that.

Am i an ass? Yes. Am i a racist? He certainly thinks so. But the bowl was something I googled, and dint think about boots in the pic.

All i did was call black players colored. dviss freaked out. Then freaked out again when mags and i were talking and i used a race joke there. Then again when i posted a pjc of a dora bowl that he took as racist.

The colired commwnt was in no way directed at dviss. He took it as such, and thats fine. The joke wasnt directed at hom, nor did I have him on my mind when i posted it. The dora bowl had a monkey in it, and he assumed that too was directed at him.

I didnt use his race against him, nor did I get any jollys off postint that stuff thinking about how abgry he would be because I didnt have him on my mibd AT ALL when i posted them.

Now because of his reactions and comments to those posts i posted other tjings to mock him

I push shit all the time, I love to be a smart ass and love to push buttons. Sometimes I take things too far or someone takes things in a way I didn't intend. When that happens I shut it down and apologize. While I was trying to stir the pot there are times I might have stirred things up too much. I think sometimes you, while just being yourself and having fun, push things a little too far. But instead of just admitting that things got out of hand you seem to immediately double down while claiming that somehow you're the victim.

We've had at least 4 of these thread derailing race arguments between you and Dviss. I can see one or two of them being unintentional but 3 is a pattern and 4 is a problem.

With this latest series of disagreements between you and Dviss I'm trying something different, instead of editing or deleting the arguments between you two I'm moving the posts out of the main forum. I've told you publicly and privately that these arguments have no place in the main forum. That means that I'm asking you to please just not continue to "accidentally" find yourself in the middle of them in the main forum. Maybe instead of sharing two Asian jokes with Mags and then deciding that you're on such a roll that it's okay to throw in a black one you instead just decide to either not make them or take them to the OT section.

If the Dora bowl was completely unintentional as you claim it is why not just say, "Fuck dude, I totally didn't mean it that way but I can understand why someone might. I'm sorry." instead of criticizing him for being offended by it? By your own admission you were mocking him and trying to get under his skin. Those are your words. So you were fucking with him but just not in the way he thought? My question to you is why continue to fuck with him? He doesn't enjoy it. People have asked you to stop, it's not enjoyable to read post after post of you two going at in a thread about a Blazer player. The only person enjoying it is you. I'm not trying to take your fun away or tell you what you can or can't post, I'm asking you to stop provoking people. If it happens unintentionally just apologize and move on. If it's something you just have to do then take it to the OT section.

This is the OT....Right? I did say it was unintentional in the thread. I am trying to drop it. I was told it was a new low and was responding, nicely. I am over it. If others arent then that is there perogitive, and its understandable. Should i not respond and just let them accuse me of things that arent 100% accurate?

Im not a victim. I will not make any comments about this unless someone else does.

lets all take a step back, try to respect each other just a little bit, and find our common ground.

Let's be honest. If and I mean IF he googled monkey pics to fuck with him and saw the Dora pic it would be pretty genius of a way to do it.

I thought, why would anyone call a black guy a monkey anyway? Then I thought that was probably the same era as calling someone colored.

So, I just wanted to know if it was intentional. Because I saw the possibility.

I can't begin to know what it would be like to be black in this country. I saw a video the other day of cops pepper spraying a black guy having a stroke. There could be many explanations for why but I still don't think they would have done that to me.
