Elliot Williams is getting playing time with the 76ers.

Greg Oden is playing tonight and the game is on TNT! In 5 minutes he is 2-4, 5pts, 2Reb and 2 fouls. Oden is a +3 at halftime.

Oden is in now. He keeps licking his fingers.

Hey when you're that big you get HUNGRY yo!

GO G.O!

oh, and a nice shout out from someone earlier in this thread about E.Will. I miss that guy, he was awesome when he was on our court.

Just got worked by Oden on NBA2K14. He had 12Pts 6Rbs and 4assts in 10 minutes.:MARIS61:

He's played more for Philly this year than he did over 3 years for us and still not making much of an impact. Just another overrated bench scrub that blazer fans seem to gaga over.

I'm sure if EWill was still in Portland he would be untouchable also.

Don't know if anyone saw this but Greg Oden got his first start since December 5, 2009.

13mins 2-4-FG, 5-Rebs, 5-pts.

And moved like he was walking in wet sand. Ceiling = Detroit Dale Davis.

Not.

Swayed.

I'm still trying to figure out what the deal is with Oden. I've never heard of an athlete sitting out 4 years and returning. Even from the most devestating injuries, the longest timeline is like 1.5 years. Then he returns, still has knee issues (swelling), and is now playing like 7 minutes a game. It's weird, something must be wrong with his body, so why is he playing?

Larry Miller and Kevin Pritchard forgot to send the Heat a threatening letter?

LeBron sat out last night's game against the Bulls. Oden started at C. 5 points, 5 rebounds, 2 fouls in ~13 minutes.

Good to see GO on the court. Now, he can retire on his own terms.

i'm happy he made a comeback. I hate that so many guys have been robbed of their careers by injuries in the last decade. Even now you can see how much talent he has.

when Oden plays 35 minutes a game for a 5 game stretch it'll impress me more

He could be dominate without doing that. Lopez doesn't even play that many minutes a game. Seems a little unrealistic.

That will never happen. Some Miami radio guy was on The Herd this morning saying that Oden's knees swell up an hour after he plays, so they try to limit all of his play within that window. He also thought that he won't even play in the playoffs until the Indy series, and only then for 8-10 minutes a game. His knees are never, ever going to let him be more than a curiosity off of the bench.

#hater

Why can't people just wish my man luck and quit being so negative on him. Quality dude right there.

He's only played 35+ minutes in a game four times.. and that was before his 4 year hiatus.

there's pretty much no chance of that ever happening.

Come to think of it, I know of a team in the NBA that could use an 8-10 minute center to come off of the bench for next season.

Come home, Greggers!
