I got a new oven installed. The fiancee burned the old one up, so the apartment put a brand new one that's much bigger than the POS I had before.

Need to do an inventory on pans and baking material. Want to roast some beef!

Holy shit! That’s the biggest I’ve seen.

I'm not a fan of hollandaise sauce, since we're being honest. Maybe I just haven't had a good one, idk.
I don't mind it. It's just to difficult to make.

Here's alton brown using the exact method I do. I can see using an egg ring for like a fried egg, but they're completely unnecessary for poached

IMO, you need to dab some hot sauce on it, preferably tabasco since it has vinegar to cut through the fatty texture.

The vinegar works to keep the poached egg together.

here's the eggs benedict I made with this method

Yup. Was just going to say that until I scrolled and saw this. I always use apple cider vinegar to bind them together. My mom always did it

I had steak and eggs this morning. How do we all like our eggs? Over medium for me. I'll take poached too if I want to take the time. Also, a french omelette is always nice.

Grandma always started my day off with her Southern Grits and Eggs (over easy), toast, bacon, and orange juice.

However, I usually get an omelette if I am eating breakfast at a restaurant.

Dutch baby if I am eating at The Original Pancake House!

Apple pancakes for me at the Original Pancake House. I always have coffee and bacon with the Apple Pancake. I leave with a smile on my face and a generous tip on the table.
Some day I'm gonna try one of those Dutch Babies their so famous for.

Lanny have you had the Apple soft cookies at Freddies? They are sooooo fricken good. I could live off of them... until they killed me anyhow. Lol.

Their apple pancakes are fantastic. Almost as good as their Dutch Babies!

rolled to this post and thirty seconds later I now have one on the way.
Not gonna properly poach an egg with that, and can just fry in a regular pan. Dont get the purpose of this one.

I'm not a big poached fan.l I'm down with over medium. And now the wife can cook both our breakfast sandwichs at the same time. like @Lanny said, I also like an english muffin with an egg and some bacon, ham or sausage on it. This will be perfect for her to cook for both of us at once.

Well okay. Really. Cook two for me at once. Lets be real...

To each their own. I apologize, not trying to be an ass. I hate single use items in my kitchen, as a personal rule, unless it's a necessity. But if I can use a kitchen tool to do 9 different thing, I dont want the goofy specialized gadget to do 1.

I don't like most soft cookies. I love the crunchy type. The lone exception was one made by Grandma's Cookies called raisin nut.
My all time favorite is a hot out of the oven crispy peanut butter cookie with lots of ice cold milk.

Alton Brown calls them unitaskers. The only one he allows in his kitchen is the fire extinguisher.

NO apologies needed! in reality the wife is probably gonna say, great. Another thing Ill use twice a month. Should I store it in the upstairs bedroom since all our kitchen drawers and cupboard are packed?

The kitchen is hers. lol I buy things I think she will like. Then we move and I find half of them buried in the back of drawers.

That's why my wife doesn't want me in the kitchen...

Im still a cookie dunker and also love them fresh out of the oven. I also like a crispy cookie because they dunk better. These Apple cookies are almost like a cake though. Think of banana break, but Apple bread instead..

Soft and moist...practically melts in your mouth.

No @EL PRESIDENTE were not talkin porn.....

The kitchen is basically mine in our house. Other people buy me "gadgets " knowing I like to cook, and they eventually make it to goodwill.
