Hey everyone, I made coffee this morning and I'm currently drinking it. Will keep you updated throughout the day as the situation unfolds.

Edit: It's all gone. I drank it.

And I have all the news I need for the day. Thanks! LOL!

Someone do the math. For us manly types, how much tp can you get out of a roll of paper towels? Wife says they still have paper towels everywhere she goes.

Typical fucking pussy Americans only stock up on the plush stuff.

Paper towels will plug the sewers and you could have shit and piss washing up over your streets.

Not a chance. My house is way up on the outskirts of Henderson. I could flush a softball. New sewer pipes. You should see the stuff that ends up in wetlands park in Henderson after a decent rain. There's luggage and clothes and all kinds of stuff homeless people lose in the drainage system.

That's separate from the sewers but still. We don't have crumbling old pipes like Portland.

If I really planned to use paper towels I'd get the cheapest thinnest ones I could find and tear them into small pieces. I'd flush after each piece. Once it makes it past my driveway into the sewer lines it is the problem of the city.

If you buy those ridiculous paper towels that feel like cloth....good luck.

I've been taking Vitamin D for years. Liquid stuff I get at Whole Foods. We were riding our bikes by this weekend and I ran in and got the last bottle on the shelf. Had to wait in line behind a younger guy wearing gloves who was playing on his phone and rubbing his gloved hands all over his face every few seconds.

Handed the little bottle to the cashier, used my debit card. Stuck the filthy card back in my wallet. Took the bottle from her (no bag) and used their hand sanitizer on my hands and the little bottle just in case.

Had to get gas after work. Put a latex glove in my pocket. Swiped my debit card and put it back without touching anything else. Put one glove on and used it to touch the gas nozzle. Returned nozzle and peeled glove of and threw it away.

Still doesn't stop me from getting it but these were the two most obvious ways I could be exposed in the last few days.

Now the BMW and Toyota parts I got today could be covered with it. Who knows?

Nashville's interstates around 8 AM this morning. Usually a sea of red this time of day. To be expected, but still kinda weird....

I was about to respond that the situation is quite fluid at the moment, but figured the pun was just a little too lame for my high standards.
I'm sure this is grounds for a darker type of humor.
You guys watch world news it seems....looks like the French Press is driving you crazy

I have an 'essential' job so I am still working but after reading this thread I don't know whether to feel pity for you all or jealousy.
If you have money coming in..... you can feel whatever you want.

I'm getting more work than I was. Now I'm really confused.

So so so essential. My wife is losing her mind having to stay home and I'm jealous of her.

All of the beaches and state parks I work at were finally closed to the public today. It was so nice doing shorebird research out in the wild with zero other humans around. The Snowy Plover nesting season is already well under way, but I I found the first early Wilson's Plover nest today. Great day out on the islands.

But how many birds did you give coronavirus to?
