The "How are Aldridge, Batum, Lopez, and Matthews Doing?" Thread

Crabbe plays a lot of 3. CJ plays plenty at 1. We weren't paying to keep Wes if Aldridge wasn't staying. Barton could easily have stayed and thrived.

Yeah he could be getting Henderson's minutes, but he is getting 30 minutes per game in Denver and that's why he has progressed. Plus would he really thrive next to CJ or Dame?

The reality is, Will is a better player now then he was on our bench...he had a good off season it seems..he's added muscle and improved his outside shooting. Everybody loved thrill but he has done what Patty Mills did and improved...credit to him. Some of that nobody saw coming. Olshey said he was happy Will found a place in a rotation. He is still not nearly as good on defense as Crabbe is and Crabbe is also a case in point...he improved in much the same way..Will is just really fun to watch

Will was showing signs of this almost immediately after being dealt. If he had still been around when Wes went down, who knows what he might have shown here. Honestly, the biggest hindrances to developing CJ/Crabbe/Barton last year were the presence of Blake and Wright on our bench. But still, that is Neil's job; to have the foresight to know which of his draftees are worth keeping around for another season or two to give the opportunity for development. He whiffed on this one. Doesn't mean he's a bad GM, but there's nothing wrong with lamenting the error.

Crabbe > Will

Don't get me wrong, I loved the People's Champ, but he was a ratball player when he was here. He could just as easily hurt our team as he could the other team. He played out of control, and sometimes that was a good thing, but it wasn't what we wanted last year. We wanted steady. We wanted experienced. We were trying to make a playoff run, and guys like Will and TRob were unreliable. Stotts couldn't count on them to play within the system and make the right decisions.

Crabbe is a very intelligent player. He plays very well within the system. He works hard, he plays defense, and he passes the ball. I like Will a lot, but I would take Crabbe over him.

Will is more talented than Crabbe for sure. But I think Crabbe is an easier fit on most teams. You can plug Crabbe into just about any team and they could integrate him just fine. Will needs a role, he needs the ball in his hands.

I wonder if Will could play the 3&D type role though. Will is shooting the same % from 3 as Allen, on almost one more attempt per game.

Fixed it for you.
Crabbe is one of the most overrated players on this team. He has turned into a decent/good serviceable player, but most of the time - he isn't a difference maker. Will impacts the game a whole lot more than Crabbe does.

Will may be better than Crabbe but only if you played both 30 minutes a game. If both were only getting 18 minutes a game then Crabbe is better as he is more consistent in shorter stints and doesn't have as many peaks and valleys.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) Charlotte Hornets guard Nicolas Batum is finally healthy, after dealing with an injured toe the past four weeks."

In the interest of full disclosure.

Lol he'll have another bad stretch soon.. Trust me

Well at least your FINALLY admitting Lillard is just a streaky solid nba player

You're*

And as long as you admit your love for another player falls on the same weakness as the one you criticize, then yes.

You never told me anything. You tried, but it never worked because you yourself were wrong, too. So, umm, really, I told you so.

Close, though, but like usual, wrong.

Sorry but your boo is a streaky good nba player. Nothing more, nothing less. The best thing about Lillard is his leadership but his game is just too streaky. His percentages too low. One week hes hot the next week hes cold. To unreliable..

You don't average 24 ppg by being streaky.

Plus, he's averaging 11 assists per game so far in February.

Actually, you do. That's not a criticism, just fact. Dame's shooting has been all over the board, with several of his big scoring games only coming from red hot fourth quarters after being ice cold through three quarters.
