He hates everyone who left voluntarily. Nic didn't have a choice, so HCP still likes him.

Nic may not have left voluntarily but he also purposely didn't show up for many nights. I miss Wes of those who 'voluntarily left' and that's it. LA had his agent write a good-bye and the rest basically didn't even acknowledge their time here.

Don't care about Afflalo/Gee/Claver/Wright/Blake

Rooting for Peoples Champ/T-Rob/Batum/Freeland

How is it considered leaving voluntarily when your never offered a contract??????
Because...he knew he was going to be offered way more money than Portland would be able to reasonably pay. If there were any chance of him staying at $8M per, Neil would've offered it.

Doesn't matter to me; Wes deserved every penny he got, and I don't begrudge him any of it. But some have a different perspective, and I don't begrudge them that either.

And Rolo?

The only way they left voluntarily would be if NO OFFERED that contract and they declined it, but they were never even offered that contract. Insulting to do so? Probably, but nonetheless, the only guy that LEFT this team is Lamarsha. Anyone who says anything else is twisting things in their head for some sort of personal benefit. Not pointing at you, just pointing at anyone. Just isnt fair to say they left voluntarily.

Wes looks ok...a bit slow but ok..I'm going out on a limb here, I've seen the Mavs in spot minutes in 3 games and Raymond Felton looks better than I've ever seen him play...and I couldn't stand him...maybe he's finally put in the work.

Gotta love paying a player 16 FUCKING MILLION dollars a year for "slow but ok"!

Nico had a great game tonight in Charlottes win..18 pts, I think 8 boards and a few assists but he's playing well for the Hornets

His FG percentage is terrible still and has no 3 point shot plus this is only the Hornets first win

MJ is telling Nic that it doesn't matter what your FG% is just as long as you don't let the other team score and get the ball back after you miss. Something similar to what Pop once said: I don't care if you turn the ball over just as long as you get it back.

I begrudge those who have that different perspective you alude to. Totally unreasonable expectations and unfair to Wes.

Well it's good we put that money to use on players who worked hard and really deserved it. ENIS the PENIS KANTER!

Because players always play exactly the same way after they change teams.
So, you just assume that if he were to come to Portland he would bring all his best attributes with him and leave all the negatives in Toronto?

The only predictor we have of what he would do here is what he has done there. How is that even the slightest bit unreasonable of a position?

Well he wouldn't be considered the franchise player in Portland like he is in Toronto. We already have that in Lillard so he would be a #2 or #3 guy here which would be a different scene for him. Or maybe he should just go to the spurs with Pop and crew and be strong championship contenders.

Notice tonight the game tracker file photo for Lamarcus still has him in a Blazer Jersey

Ok, so we need to pay our #2/#3 guy $20M+?? Great.
And by signing a #2/#3 guy, I assume you mean it's to compliment Dame and CJ.. Someone that can space the floor for them and make up for their deficiencies on the defensive end. But were sitting here talking about Derozen...
