Shook!

Don't worry Spurs, you're only stuck with LA for 5 more years. No amnesty. Imagine how he'll be at 35.

I'll say I like this new team better than the last

Top to bottom I like this years team a LOT more. Last years (and the year before) had more starting 5 talent, but it wasn't a scrappy or aggressive lot.

We've been trained to expect passive play from the PF and SF spot and as much as I appreciated Lopez and Matthews, they couldn't really create much or go up strong.

If Vonleh turns into a passable asset, it'll even make it easier to consider this team better (on potential).

I agree with this 100%

This team has an identity at least, they're not experienced like the last few teams but you know what to expect for the most part at least.

The reason why I think you feel this team has an identity is because there isn't the ominous black cloud hanging over the team, demanding respect, demanding his touches, and whining about who gets to be the face of the franchise.

Am I the only one who's shocked LaMarcus showed up to training camp looking like that? With everything that went on over the summer and getting this huge contract from the Spurs I would have thought he'd show up ready to impress. Knowing the successful, businesslike way the Spurs are reportedly run (and the reputation Pop has for getting after his players) it is the last thing I expected to see. He really does look physically terrible and completely lost in their system. I think he will turn it around but he looks like a different player!
