Politics The Kamala Harris Thread

Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

The absolute best part of this whole thing is watching the self hating Jew, Stephen Miller go into a full tilt boogie meltdown on Faux News over it. Crying crocodile tears because the Republicants spent "tens of millions of dollars running against Biden". Boo fucking hoo. Accusing them of destroying the democratic process (yeah, I know....). Then he segues into calling the DNC an oligarchy and accusing the DNC of basically being nothing more than a corporate business entity, despite the fact that his boss has turned the RNC into just another part of the Trump business portfolio run by his daughter in law, with the Trump family in complete control. You just can't make this shit up. The lack of self awareness has got to be entirely intentional, as no one can be this entirely clueless. But then, a full one third of this great America eats this garbage up like it's candy and scream for more. Yep, Make America Great Again........

This is a serious question.

What experience and qualifications does K Harris have in foreign relations?

I can find where she attended a state funeral, such as in Japan. But what experience does Harris have dealing with live diplomats involving foreign relations?
I'll take whatever experience she has over anything Donald Trump might do.

Thank you very much.

Lots of people attend conferences and meetings, but...

What has Harris accomplished?

If that's the criterion, what has any Vice President ever accomplished in foreign policy?

She has accomplished not being Trump. That is the only answer you will receive here. Everone knows she is wildly unpopular and severely underqualified, to a degree that watching her speak is almost frightening. But it doesn’t matter because she is not Trump and that’s the only math a binary brain can deduce.

You forgot to mention that she has dementia.

What great things had Trump accomplished in regards to foreign relations before he was voted in?

No, she’s just a moron. At least Biden had an excuse for knowing nothing about anything.

You've got a heavy lift ahead of you now. Best of luck with that line.

Was she selected as VP because of her performance in the primary, job performance in CA or because her race and gender? There were better quailed VP candidates imo, but I understand for VP selections it's more about incremental votes they can bring in. Kennedy couldn't stand Johnson and didnt want him on the ticket, he was convinced or pressured to go LBJ as he helped the southern vote.

That's really the only answer that matters right now.

We have things that need to be fixed. But the most present danger to America right now is Donald Effing Trump.

That was probably the last time a VP pick ever made a positive difference. Nowadays it's more about who will hurt you the least.

And she's still far superior to Trump.
But not to Biden (somehow) and that is really all that should matter to democrat voters. But instead you guys are too focused on Trump to actually choose a candidate that can beat Trump. It’s like a vicious cycle of failure where you refuse to take off your ‘spooky Trump goggles’ long enough to actually demand something meaningful from your party.

you act like Kamala has no experience, but at the same time support a guy who was voted president who had even less experience.
He was president for four years. So yes, he has more experience. What’s interesting though is I never brought up Trump. And i didn’t make that claim in 2016 before he had been president.

During Republican primary, even after Trump clinched nomination, Nikki Haley got 15-20% of the vote. People voted for her knowing she wouldn't win nomination.
At RNC, Haley asked all her delegates to vote for Trump.
How is that OK but Biden asking his delegates to vote for his VP undemocratic?

Before he was president. What experience did he have? You want to say Kamala has no experience, so tell me about all the experience Trump had before you voted for him the first time since that seems to be such a big deal to you.

Because when the Republicans do it, it's ok.

Dick Cheney did quite a number.

What was his accomplishment? 9/11? Using 9/11 to send troops to Iraq and steal oil? Great accomplishments.

Did you vote for him 8 years ago when he didn't have any experience?

I never brought up experience though, you guys did, and are now pinning on me as if it were the crux of some argument i was making. You are trying to debunk a claim I didn’t even make.
