Harris had best first day of fundraising in history. Then followed with best second day.

Democratic party nationally heard from 200 or 300 people a day wanting to volunteer. In the last day 28,000 signed up to volunteer.
 
Joe Biden was forced to step down, by our ruling class, after a disastrous debate, that was meant to boost his poll numbers. Cash flow from his donors dried up, causing a natural panic within the party. You can't win without billionaire donor cash. After many days Joe was eventually forced to "pass the torch", to the now presumptive democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris. Whom our oligarchy handpicked... for us.

Why did they pick Kamala Harris. Ironically: To "Save" America's democracy.

Yep. We need to focus on getting a single open primary for our elections. Using a ranked choice style system in which the top four contestants move on.

We need to get publicly funded elections. So that our elections don't rely on billionaire funding, And so that are political leaders aren't beholden to the lobbyists paid by these billionaire individuals and corporations.

While that will not be a goal of Harris's for sure, you can bet Donald Trump would make sure that that never happens.

Unfortunately we don't have the opportunity right now to push for what we want in this specific election. Right now we're on the defensive. We just need to fight off the attack.

If you can't get change out of either party, you don't actually have a two-party system.

I'm not claiming that we do. Or that we should. I'm simply saying we have a choice in November. That is the reality of the world we live in right now.

One of the options is Donald Trump.

That is a very bad direction to get anything that is important to you or I done.

I can't imagine anybody from the DNC who would be worse.

Sorry. That means nothing to me, in this discussion. It only glosses over the fact that, our democracy is being bought by our ruling class.
 
Rumors are that Biden will not be able to finish his term. That would mean that Kamala would not only be the first DEI President, but the first person to be president after getting 0 votes in the primary.
 
I'm not too hopeful on a Kamala Harris presidency changing the world or anything, but if she can be a major setback to this handover of MAGA to freaks like Musk, Thiel and Vance, it will be a good thing even on a cultural level. We need to move on from mid-2010s politics so badly. Biden picked a good time to step down as the Trump assassination stuff becomes an examination of the Secret Service instead of this MAGA martyrdom crap that filled the airwaves for a week.
 
This woman has an IQ of about 90. Whenever she talks, it's like a high schooler who winging a speech who didn't do the reading...

I'm not sure why I'm responding to such a stupid post, but the last part is obviously false. To start, there weren't any primaries for the first 30 or so Presidents, so they all got 0 primary votes.

I love how Laura Loomer lost whatever remaining credibility that she had left by posting false Biden medical emergencies, and the lesson learned by conservatives was to just go straight into Joe being dead.

I think the nervousness was compounded by the fact Vance made the worst mountain dew joke I've ever heard in my life at a rally the same night. The guy is a total lightweight, to use a Trump term. Trump going on Rockstar Social Club or Xfire or his IRC channel and posting 57 times in an hour was "bad optics" in my opinion. 2016 Trump had rallies that would end at 1AM sometimes, I don't think he wants to put in that level of effort again, which he will have to do if he stalls out in the polls.

How do you know she was wrong? If he keels over soon, the chances that report were correct go up.

Seems like she's saying that despite the hand-wringing from many, valid, reliable output from AI is simply predictably dependent upon valid, reliable input. What's wrong with that?
