U.S. inflation rate for 2022 was 8.00%, a 3.3% increase from 2021.
U.S. inflation rate for 2021 was 4.70%, a 3.46% increase from 2020.
U.S. inflation rate for 2020 was 1.23%, a 0.58% decline from 2019.
U.S. inflation rate for 2019 was 1.81%, a 0.63% decline from 2018.
And a 278% decline of racism and hatred being spread around daily from 2019 to 2024. That’s the rate me and my family care about.

A Black Trump supporter called Harris a race traitor because she isn't "really" Black and her husband is Jewish.

Imagine a Democrat calling a Black Republican on a mixed marriage race traitor. They would be a Sunday dinner roast.

Cows are highly social animals, chickens have emotions, and pigs are smarter than some humans. All die to serve a purpose no greater than a Taco Bell value meal. Humans are not special and we should not feel any special guilt for abortions; we’ve been aborting unwanted embryos and fetuses for longer than we’ve had writing. The needs of the individual involved in the choice are more important than a stranger’s comfort with the decision. Putting effort towards eliminating infant and child mortality would be the most compassionate thing to do.
I get what you're sharing and realize that animals have feelings. I know when I have a steak I'm eating the fear of the cow, thus I dont eat a lot of red meat. When I was in my teens I dated a girl that was working at Taco Bell and I pick her up while closing up, she showed me what the meat they put in tacos were, bags of green soy on shelves, and when cooked turns brown.
Abortion is a women's choice and personal decision.
Feeling are simply feelings, not right or wrong.

Birds feel pain and fear. It took two days but finally got the bird Lashanna gave me for my birthday safely outside unharmed. She didn't kill the lizard she caught because it's not good to eat, just a toy, but it was badly injured and not going to recover on its own. Reptiles feel pain and fear. I gave it quick end.

Women feel pain and fear. No woman hangs out smoking weed for eight months and then decides to have a late abortion because she can't fit into her prom dress or any of the other lies misogynistic men put forward.

Funny well not funny, those who acknowledge fear that a spider feels which is uncertain but dismiss women.

Something I hadn't known. Senator Mark Kelly and his wife, former congresswoman Gabby Giffords, were trying to conceive a child through IVF. Her being shot ended the possibility as she is no longer able to carry a pregnancy. Kelly ripped Vance for his snide remarks about childless women, especially considering Vance wants to outlaw IVF.

Why The Democrats Never Get Anything Done

The truth about democrats.

Can they watch the video and actually refute why their party can't get anything done? Or just bury their heads in the sand, and look away from the truth, just like a republican would do?

He's right.

Vance and I are both Catholics. The Old Testament is full of God blessing women who had long given up hope with children, making what was impossible possible according to His will. I don't know how Vance reconciles this fact with his hatred of IVF. It's just cruelty.

WTH is it with MAGA and Trump apologists flying the flag in their profile pics?

A high school friend of mine asked me a few years ago as we discussed policy positions if I "wasn't a patriot." I said I really didn't care what people called me, I took positions I thought were best for my neighbors, countrymen and the world and avoiding labels. I then explained to him my reasoning for arriving at one of the positions, and he laughed and said he didn't have time to explain why he felt the way he did. I told him he was free to message or email me with it or whatever whenever he has time for it.

Anyway, I still haven't heard back. But he has a nice flag he proudly displays.

Childless cat lady.

Her opinion doesn't matter, nor should her vote count! I mean, what has she ever done to better our country or show she's invested in the improvement in kids ability to read because she gives them free books and she is a saint and arguably one of the best people alive fuck JD Vance with a rusty sledgehammer.

This!!! This is the conundrum I have been dealing with for the past eight years! I have asked and asked, friends, family and strangers WHY they would vote for Trump, why they feel Trump is qualified to lead this country. And all I have EVER gotten is, "Well, he's a good businessman" (far too easily debunked by his numerous bankruptcies alone). "He's not part of the political establishment." (Well duh! Look at how stupidly he handled things for four years.) "He'll drain the swamp." (Trump IS the swamp, and it got bigger and deeper under his watch). "He's respects religion" (Uh, not even going there). "He respects law enforcement and the rule of law." (How does one even argue with this kind of obvious brain dead stupidity???) And the list a vague, unsupportable "reasons" just goes on.....

The bottom line is a bunch of ignorant sheep who just either want "something different" (without having any idea of what that is) or they want to burn it all down without caring about what happens after. And they are ashamed to be honest enough to admit it

They want to win, but they don't understand the "game," which, in this case, isn't a game at all.

Since Reagan, the U.S. right has been running on a platform generally of less and less government, oversight and regulation. It gets to a point where you wonder what their candidates even stand for when you are the Seinfeld of political movements.

And, yeah, don't get me started on the hypocrisy of simultaneously being for "more freedom" while taking away the rights of Americans to control their own bodies and thoughts, of forcing evangelical Christianity to be practiced in schools and public functions and making it harder for citizens to be free because fewer of them will have the finances to do things like move to places where there might be a better job. Just leave that part of your brain at the door and play along with me for another paragraph.

Inevitably, the couldn't run on issues, because their platform was that there were no issues other than the government shouldn't interfere in anything. However, the people still needed food and housing. Roads needed repaired. Someone had to pay the military. People demanded something of the government rather than anarchy, so it just became rhetoric and jingoism and an evil enemy they are opposing. Or playing against, because they see this as a team sport. "Our star player might be a drug addict and a wife abuser, but he's OUR star and that makes it OK. I don't ask any other questions."

“Make Us Superior Again” is the real message but a lot of people don’t like others knowing what the us means.

Republican controlled states are responding to surge of interest with Harris at top of ticket by enacting regulations making it harder to conduct voter registration drives.

I’m convinced that it’s because they live in an information bubble that is based out of fear. Trump thrives on the fear and encourages to them that the news they listen to is ‘fake’.

I mean if you turn on AM radio, even in a market like Portland it is diluted with right wing radio shows that incite fear, talk about how Sleepy Joe wants trans kids to compete in the wrong gender sports and a whole myriad of social things that really have no impact on peoples day to day life.

All the media markets ie podcasts, radio shows, blogs, twitter etc are just saturated with fear based talking heads trying to cash in on this stuff.

I just listened to Lars Larson the other day go on a rant about how Kamala Harris is low IQ. He beats that into his followers heads and they believe it, while the people who actually have a clue know that she’s exponentially smarter than Trump and it’s not close.

Republican Party has been on a fear based platform for years (they’re taking our guns!). Now with all the different outlets, opinions and mouth breathers it’s been amped up even more. Trump put accelerant on that fire and now we’re where we are at.

These people don’t believe any actual scientific facts, because they’re told America is going to hell in a hand basket and the main stream media can’t be trusted.

On the plus side, many fiscal conservatives have dropped the party since Trump came about and the party is populated with degenerates.

The country is split between Trader Joe’s types and Walmart shoppers.

just my take.

It’s because Trump makes it okay for them to be vocal about their hate, racism and bigotry. They have had to hide their true feelings for years and finally have a candidate that vocalizes their same feelings and they worship him for it.
