A Republican group is challenging Harris ballot access, citing Dred Scott decision.

Trump just says she has no right to run.

Are you talking about the Fred Scott Feline Symposium?

What would the Republican Party be saying if Harris was a convicted felon?

Of course they are.

Can beat her, gotta cheat her.

Wasn't above board.

So, certainly nobody voted to have JD Vance be the VP nominee. Suppose for a moment that Trump wins, dies, and Vance becomes president.

Is that cheating in your book? He'd have become President (not merely a candidate for president) because *one* person chose him.

By contrast, having 2000 or so party delegates choose Harris (to be a candidate) is far more democratic.

Wasn't above board.

Sure it was.

Biden stepped down. The voters in the primary voted for him and Kamala to be the nominees again. His delegates went to the other person on the ticket with him.

There was a process. There was a convention. She was confirmed as the nominee with overwhelming support.

Democrats are not upset, nor do they feel she unfairly got the nomination.

That's debatable. Until the convention, the party doesn't have a nominee. And, if you're going to say, "He was forced out by the powers in his party," realistically, this happens to a lot of candidates in every election cycle -- this just played out more prominently. And how many times have legislators been compelled to change their positions and vote against their conscience because a power in the party threatened them with being primaried or losing a committee position? It's pretty much the same thing.

After that, the real question becomes "So what?" Are Democratic voters upset that Harris is the nominee instead of Biden? It doesn't appear that way at all. Do independents mind having this choice instead of Biden-Trump? Doesn't look like it.

If you're not a Biden voter, then your opinion on this really doesn't matter. It just comes off as sour grapes.

The DNC got Joe elected and the DNC pushed him to retire. Neither is wrong, its what two dominate parties do...

Democrats get 10x more shit done while in office. They pass bill after bill, create more jobs, all while bills that are very beneficial to the American people get cockblocked for the sake of political gain.
You can name a bill the “all girls farts smell like cinnamon rolls from now on” bill and it sounds really great. But when there’s a “murder all kittens” provision hidden in it then problems arise. No bill is ever single-issue, it’s always a bargaining tool where each side gets to skim off the top and pay out their donors and lobbyists affiliates.
People are always on here talking about who passed this, who blocked this. People really have no idea how these bills work. They are nothing to write home about, ever. It’s always stealing from peter to pay paul.

Yet people only complain when Democrats do it, and not when Republicans do it. Weird

How pathetic is Kamala, to botch an interview so badly that was conducted on by a Network that is constantly kissing her ass. It was apparently heavily edited after the fact, based on the request of her team, so who knows what else we missed.

She looks like a scared little puppy. She just wants to deliver pre-written speeches her staff writes. This is why they are trying to hide her.

Couldn't care less. All she has to do is be better than a rapist felon who sets traps to kill American soldiers.

She doesn't need to do a damned thing to be vastly superior to Trump.

Ah, let him go. He's scared.

Here is a hypothetical discussion about this conspiracy.

It was edited!!

how do you know?

There's no way a black woman could talk tha....er, I mean, I read about it online.

Politico headline after CNN interview:
Harris evades questions on her identity

There are no questions on her identity.

Media playing Trump game just in case. Project 2025 is explicit on what will be done to any media not sufficiently servile to Trump.
