Cavaliers forward LeBron James believes that the Blazers shouldn't have threatened the rest of the NBA about signing Darius Miles last week.

"The way they came out and handled that situation was completely wrong," James said. "There was definitely a way they could handle it better. D-Miles is a good guy.

"You have to pull for somebody like that after a situation like that. He gets some more games and he's going to get what he deserves."

Miles needs to play in just one more game in order for Portland to be responsible for the $18 million remaining on his contract.

Sorry if this was already posted, I didn't find it anywhere. :)

The King has spoken.

I laughed pretty good when Mike Rice called him Queen James last night after he got blocked or something.

I hope Mike Rice never leaves.

Seriously, who cares what Lebron says. I hate how people treat him like a god, his ego cancels out his game.

There isn't enough ego on this planet to cancel out his game! Nobody has an ego that big, not even me!

I would like to introduce you all to the Keirs brothers. First names Hu and Tafuq.

lebron>>>>>>>>>>>

I dont think anyone is debating that. I do think tho, that people are debating if it really matters what he thinks about the subject.

LeBron and Cleveland are like the human rain delays of hoops. LeBron's little powder thing before the game is cool, but damn, those guys took forever to get on the court last night. People around me in the RG were saying, are they ever going to get on the court to play?
And then out of timeouts they took their sweet ass time.

Oh well, I'm bitter we lost to them.

Of course it doesn't matter but why should it bother anyone? It's only his opinion.

Do you guys really find that cool? Seems obnoxious to me.

The King is creepy.

obnoxious being one of the milder words I'd use for it. And it's not even original (seriously, #23 LeBron? About as original as his favorite teams... Cowboys, Yankees, etc.) There's also the downside of being needlessly dickish to everyone who has to breath that crap.

For the 4-5 seconds it takes, it's pretty amusing to me especially to see it live in person. I enjoyed the small spectacle, but when he started posing after that alley oop, arguing with the refs after every call, and being more concerned about looking good after every shot... then LeBron got on my nerves.

Pretty funny that he doesn't seem to understand the situation. At least it sounds like he thinks Miles wasn't getting the remaining money of his contract with us before his 10th game.

I think he's just parroting what his boss, the Cavs owner (forgot his name), said about the e-mail shortly after it was released. Nothing to see here, just another example of how LBJ can't think for himself and has to find out what the company line is on a subject. Let's not forget his refusal to sign anything that might go against Nike's interests, even a humanitarian petition condemning the genocidal crisis in Darfur.

This is my main problem with it. Normally I'm willing to listen to James's opinions because he's the present and future of the NBA and also because he helped bring us this video:

She's too hot. Too, too hot.

i highly doubt he came out and made a statement about this on his own. i'm sure a reported specifically questioned him on it and he said what he thought. probably would have been better off saying nothing, but who really cares?

Actually, I agree with him. We both want Darius Miles to get "what he deserves".
